'Welcome to the Hellmouth' 3" vinyl figures

Titan have just unveiled the designs for there 3" Buffy vinyl figures due later this year.

This is the sort of thing to expect as they previously released a DrWho line.

The ones in the middle are the chase variants while those around were the initial release.

I like the look of these more then the Funko ones.

I'm not sure about these.
Disproportionalty large heads on any kind of figurine freak me the hell out. It's like a phobia or something.

Like bobble-head dolls. Those things make me shiver. 🙁

Although, having said that, I quite like The Doctor figurine in the other set, so I'll wait and see.

Yeah I know what you mean, although I find these a tad cuter then the (imo) hideous blank eyed creations that are the Funko ones.

Seems realistic is out at the moment and retro/abstract is in.

Agreed. The big heads freak me out a little BUT they are definitely cuter than the Funko ones. I like the the vamps are all vamped out 🙂

I'm not even sure I like these more than the funko ones, but if there's a Dru I'm in no matter what!

The drawings for the line makes them look creepy, but the Dr. Who line makes them cute so that makes me happy.

However, the Mayor and Faith figures seriously creep me out. They look nothing like Eliza and Harry [in my opinion].

Random thought: The top Dr. Who - is he Dr. Who? I don't follow that show - first in line in the first row looks almost exactly like my old pediatric nephrology doctor. Crazy!

But I am a big fan of the Funko figures and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

The 11th Doctor (played by Matt Smith) yes, now the former doctor as Peter Capaldi begins his run as the Doctor later this month

It's been a struggle finding these; I found 4 boxes at Hot Topic and then was told they wouldn't be getting more in (of note: the salesperson said "If there was any Buffy stuff here, I'd have it".. which I thought was rather unsalesperson-y).

I was gonna say - no, they're totally cute! Until I saw Mr Pole's pictures... the Buffy one looks really weird and kind of creepy to me, something about the eyes... Drusilla and the Mayor are creepy too.

The Master is utterly adorable however 😀

I love how creepy Dru is, but something about the Buffy and Faith ones are just off for me. The Mayor's smile is nearly 100% true Harry Groener creepy!
