Has anyone heard of this? It came across as a new fall novel to read.. so I started to look into it..

I guess the podcast has been going on for four years now and grown so popular they have novelized their stories. It's very interesting to me because it harkens back to the old radio serials that they used to make. Wondering since it's been going on for four years and I'm sure some of you actually listen to podcasts, if anyone has heard it, or are fans.

I went to their panel at comic con last month and was impressed so I started listening. I like it so far, but there is a lot to catch up on...I'll probably check the book out when it comes out. If I remember correctly, you'll be able to read the novel without having needed to listen to all the episodes; but it will add onto existing stories which is awesome.

You suck. I would love to go there, but I would also HATE to go there.. the very fact that you went there, and just nonchalantly said 'when i was at comic con' pfft. Why was there no thread started for this? It's like the basement dweller's mecca. You stepped your little feet into the holy land and drank of the water. I've never known anyone that has made the pilgrimage.

Now that that's out of the way.. what do you think of the podcast?

@Mr. Pole I loved it and hated it. You should make the pilgrimage sometime; it really is bizarre mixture of fun, interesting, exhaustion, and annoyance. With great people watching. And yeah, I'm a brat...that month was so long ago it's hard to be excited about it still. 😛

Night Vale is quirky. Totally different than any other podcast I've listened to. It took a while to get into but after the first several episodes I really started to enjoy it. I enjoy the mixture of the dry humor and creepy happenings. The old radio style broadcasts are neat too.
