Athena is a former mod here and Rampage I have worked with before. Because of the environment on the board, it would not be right to bring any of our regular members onto the staff at this time.

Thanks. I'll do my best.

I will say this. I want all of us to remember why we are here, to enjoy this board and each other. I believe that my job is to help facilitate that for as many people as possible as often as I can. To that effect, I am now reminding all us to be respectful of each other and of staff. I am sincerely hoping that all can be happiness and light. However, if that cannot be, we will do what must be done establish and maintain order.

No, the special project is something we haven't seen on the board yet.

I'd love to have fresh slates, and goodbye drama. But fact is, I can't in good conscience ask someone to join the staff and potentially be put in the middle of a shitstorm. BUT we need help just reading through the sheer volume of posts. Hence, two mods I know and trust who offered to help out.

Hopefully today, RIGHT NOW.

But how we proceed is in part up to the people of this board, and we take our cues from that. It will be better here than it has been and the future will be brighter, no matter what it takes.

Hello everyone, thank you for the welcome 🙂

I've been here for a while (both as a member of staff and as a reg member) and one thing that HASNT changed is that this is one of the BEST buffy (or any) message boards around. it's creator/owner, Buffy Summers has done a hell of a job. there's alot of history here and alot of great members (and staff). at the request of a long time friend, I'm here to help out for the time being and I want to ensure that everyone here can enjoy the boards and each other and part of that includes protecting members (and staff) from ANY kind of harrassment/bullying.
