I don't think he disliked Earshot, he went out of his way to say that he *did* like it, but it was 'strange to him'.

Which is strange to me.

Yeah, it was like he was saying "I don't like it but it is okay that you like it", which is just a really disjointed and weird sentiment to put out.

Kean I know. it's Earshot! It was a really good episode! It's crazy to hear someone not like that episode!

This grouping of episodes in season 3 is one of the best. Earshot is AMAZING. There is so many hilarious scenes. I thought the serious subject was handled well too. (Buffy and her convo with Jonathan)

He... didn't like Earshot? Inconceivable! What kind of a...

Just read it. It's not like he didn't like it, exactly, just that he thought that the tone and some segments were oddly played out, or felt out of place. But overall, he did like it.

He didn't like Earshot.

He. Didn't. Like. Earshot.

I don't even know...

I had the exact same reaction. I still enjoy reading his reviews, but between Earshot and his Cersei stanning (the Song of Ice and Fire books), I just can't take his opinions seriously anymore.

As you well know, I was already iffy (not just because of the TMI of his posts) but because of his The Wish review. The Wish is stunning, so I am right where you are; not being able to take his reviews seriously.

I want more commentary on Anya! He is reminding me of the first time I saw her in those episodes.

The Prom is up. Okay yeah, unfortunately, he's reverted back to his old "me, me, me" phase. But I just skip those things and head straight to the review part of the....review.

But Graduation Day part 1 and 2 are up next! 😀

And he completely got the break up backwards. Angel feels unworthy of Buffy, not Buffy of him. But yes, Graduation Day is tomorrow. I hope in vain for better.
Ok...I had forgotten completely about Angel's dream in this episode...(I totally have a theory of foreshadowing here)

I like the review and his amazement at Buffy's ability to make sure everyone else gets a prom after what's happened.

I know, I have a feeling he won't be as into season 4, but I'm excited to see how he likes Hush and some other good ones the season has. 😀

Why is this guy such an important reviewer? He's not that good. He spends half his "review" talking about being gay and how hard his life is. His reviews don't go in-depth on characters or scenes either. But i'm probably in the minority because this guy seems to have lots of followers.

The importance comes from the fact that this is the first time he watched the show, so his views on what's happening are refreshing.

I agree, particularly so because his writing style is so enthusiastic and conversational

Yes 😀

It's that we're interested in his first time reactions and thoughts. Plus his thoughts for future episodes.

It would have been even more awesome if he live streamed his first time watches! 😱

Someone made a comment that he mentioned something Buffy related in an old review..so he could know a little more than he lets on. But I do think it is majorly new for him.

Surprising that he doesn't know Cordelia drops from the cast of Buffy after S3 and moves to Angel. It has to be impossible to avoid spoilers like that. (He does read the comments doesn't he?) I remember learning that when avoiding spoilers online during my first watch.

Who knows guys? Maybe he will actually enjoy season 4. You never know. If there's one thing i've learned when it comes to fandom, is that everyone views the show differently. Some people view season 4 as their favorite. So I'm interested to see what his responses are. Especially for Angel. I couldn't even get through the first season at first because it was such a letdown, so this should be a fun read. 🙂

I'm looking forward to his reaction to Hush, the halloween ep (Fear itself?), and Restless definitely. Also, he's gonna cry like crazy when Oz leaves, and I'll be interested in his take on Tillow. And Something Blue, 'cause the banter at the beginning is so hilarious...

Oh...and Who are You since he loves Faith!

Also, I love reading his predictions...I totally laugh at what's going to happen vs. what he is wanting/dreading.
