I'm really interested in his reaction to Willow/Tara. That would be exciting, especially since I remember him mentioning something about wanting to see a gay character becoming a regular in one of the S1 reviews.

He is going to so devastated about Woz. 🙁

His predictions are up. He's so wrong about Angel. I can't wait to see his reaction about Cordelia joining the show. 😀

He has some correct predictions about season 4, but most of them are incorrect.

LOL!! Loved that he thinks Cordelia will be in BtVS.

I think he's right about Buffy's father being in LA and should appear on AtS.

And I sympathize with his desire to see Xander's parents. At least he'll see Xander's father in Restless.

I'm so excited for him to start S4 of Buffy! It's too bad that I haven't really watched much of AtS so I won't be able to read his reviews of that unless I want to be spoiled. :/

Watch it along with him! That would be cool.

Watch with him! Then you can post your first-time reactions here too. Of course, you're a leetle more spoiled...
Haha, he's gonna be so mad in BTVS 4.01 when he doesn't see Cordy anywhere... and then so happy to find her again in Angel !!

I was thinking that too xD. Having Cordelia in Angel will really help interest him in watching it I think.

I wonder if he reads the episode descriptions prior to watching it. If not, he'll be like 😱 when he sees her in the opening credits

I'm sorry, I am having a little trouble taking him seriously as a reviewer. I am used to a more formalized, dignified style of writing, not an emotional stream of consciousness that uses all caps every second sentence.

And, yes, as others have said, I don't need a personal "coming out story" inserted in every review. The review is supposed to be about the series, not about one's life.

Of course it is his blog and he can do as he pleases. And I am happy he is enjoying Buffy. But if I didn't know better I'd say the reviews were written by an overly emotional 12 year old, not an adult.

"- There will be one explicitly jokey/funny episode."

His prediction about that for season 4 is spot on. "Superstar" clearly fits that, since it's such a joke episode.

"JOOOYYYYCCCCEEEEEE. I always forget that she has a job working for a museum. Hopefully, she makes enough money to not have an aneurysm from paying for Buffy’s books."

and he is completely un-spoiled? wow.

I was just gonna come here and post that quote! I still think he's unspoiled, it was an off the cuff remark.

Quite a bizarre one though 🙂

Did he post his review for The Freshman already? I can't get into his blog. Must be too crowded.

Buffy says something like my mom will have an anuerism when she gets the bill.for these books. So he wasnt spoiled on that, if anything buffy was having some dark foreshadowing

I was thinking about Something Blue for the explicitly joke/funny ep.

One last thing: I laughed so ****ing hard when Doyel asked Angel if he was "game" for opening the office with him and Cordelia, and then it cuts to him brooding on a ****ing skyscraper, and Angel answers, "I'm game." I'M SORRY, DID HE LITERALLY LEAVE THAT OFFICE, CLIMB UP A BUILDING, AND THEN ANSWER DOYLE? This is my personal head canon and you cannot take it away.

LMAO at this. xD

I always laughed at that part because it was so over-the-top, but brilliant. 🙂

Every season has at least one explicitly joke/funny episode, right? S2 had Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, S3 had The Zeppo, S4 had Something Blue, S5 had The Replacement, S6 had Tabula Rasa, S7 had Him.

I thought S3's silly episode was Band Candy. Also, S5's silly episode was Triangle.

True, but Superstar feels like the most "gag reel" worthy. I actually enjoyed every other silly episode more than it. But the opening credits with Jonathan implemented in each scene was them trolling xD
