It doesn't matter who started it, when it started, or why it started at this point, and I'm certainly not going to point fingers or defend anyone's actions, but things have finally apparently come to a head.


Very few here, if any, thank God, have ever known the realities of war first hand, but I can tell you, as one of the unlucky few, that not even the relatively small conflict in Southeast Asia can possibly compare with what potentially could happen next.

I invite everyone here who believes in a Higher Power to join me in praying that some sort of solution can be found before it's too late.

Hopefully, both parties will calm down and realize that it's not in anyone's interest to move forward... or add fuel to the fire...
 
Yes, things are heating up. Trump really wants to nuke North Korea, but if he does, Putin will find a reason to hit the US.

So let's party while we can, because we're all pretty screwed.

I don't think anything will come of it. Best I can tell Kim simply wants to protect himself and his wealth. He can do that by discouraging attacks through being armed and unpredictable. Second he shoots first and tips his hand then he invites a full invasion.

I think almost everything said by him and Trump is just noise and posturing.
 
He is a psychopath. Or a sociopath. I don`t know which, but it doesn`t really make a difference. He is not only unpredictable, he is unstable. I don`t think, he is in any rational way thinking about protecting his wealth.

And yeah, where is the f....antastic CIA, if you need them ?

Both Orange Man and Rocket Man are little kids who just happen to have access to nuclear weapons, it's sad.

I don't think that a nuclear war is coming just yet though.

Not as much sad, as dangerous and potentially tragic.

And it doesn't have to be nuclear to get a whole bunch of people killed.

You either let Japan, South Korea and Taiwan have their own nuclear weapons to protect themselves, or protect them better by talking less and arming more. Poking Kim while offering no real protection for your allies is the stupidest choice.
 
I think that Trump is purposely "goading" Kim, so he'll attack an ally; THEN there's a reason to nuke the shit out of North Korea.
 
As many of you know, I was directly impacted by war. The love of my life went to Afghanistan as a combat engineer and was shot in the chest and died as a result of his injuries. Every attempt possible to avoid war or warlike situations should be engaged.

It feels like North Korea has been threatening to kill us all for so long now that all the threats are starting to feel a bit blank but the crazy SOB's in charge are capable of everything and nothing at the same time.
