Question Were the Powers trying to warn Cordelia? Scene

I was watching Angel and I noticed something after Cordy breaks up with Groo. She sits on the table and has a apparition of herself telling her about her feelings for Angel. She sits there and dismisses it as I guess, her talking to her self conscious? Or a new demon power? But if you notice, Apparition Cordy is wearing the same exact thing Cordy wore to meet angel and ascended in. Also, she says the EXACT same thing to Skip when she talks to him about Angel.

I don't want to look to deep into things, but we know Cordys visions have changed a lot. Is it possible this was an attempt from the powers to warn her about Skip? Cordy seemed to dismiss it as a vision. And I was thinking if she had stood and payed more attention just maybe her ascension could've been avoided?

That makes sense. All the Jasmine/Skip stuff (some would call it crap) didn't make a whole lot of sense. I just like to think that Skip was lying in that episode "Inside Out" (which if taken otherwise pretty much destroys all the mythology of Angel). If the Powers showed up in that vision, that makes more sense, and Jasmine was corrupting the visions, not sending them.
 
YES!!!!!!!! I totally think it was a warning vision!!!! I'm so glad for this thread! I love when my feelings are validated! 🙂
 
Jasmine corrupting the visions... that made me think of something. Speaking of that along with skip... do you know what exactly happened to Cordelia after he demonized her? I mean did he actually make her part demon, or implant some kind of essence of Jasmine in her?
I found it strange that Cordy received a vision of Justine being attacked in the club, and had Angel help her. Then a few episodes later she helps drown Angel in the ocean, keeping him away from Cordelia to have her ascend while Angel's MIA. Did Jasmine manipulate her visions ever since her encounter with Skip? I'm sort of confused with this storyline to be honest
