Were the rumours true about Alyson & Sarah?

Life = ruined. Oh man, I thought Sarah & Alyson were fine. FML. Okay. Now it's gonna take at LEAST 2 weeks for me to push this out of my brain and pretend they are BFFs again.

Sorry, but if Jessica Biel was Buffy the Vampire Slayer... the show wouldn't have even had enough time to think of doing a musical. Also, Jessica was doing 7th Heaven.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, whether you believe it or not, is the perfect casting choice for Buffy. She has the wit, style, humor, and intensity, and empowers everything Buffy has.

Also, yes, Sarah decided to leave, but what would you do after seven years of your life playing the same character, week after week? It gets tiring, I'm sure, and maybe, as much as the loved the show, she had had enough. Plus, honestly, the seventh season was a little lack-luster. Perhaps going beyond that, especially if it was without the title-character, would be pushing it.

it's sad. i mean they worked together for like 7 years, and they were friends at one point
And whoever said the stuff about Sarah not being at the conventions and stuff...
So true. she was never really into all the other stuff, going out in public and promoting buffy and stuff
Which is sad, cause sarah rocks 🙂
But so does Alyson.

I agree with Willow-Tree. I understand if Sarah wanted to leave the show. She did her best that no-one can ever replace IMO. 7 years is long enough. That's why Eliza didn't want to do Faith the Vampire Slayer either.
 
I don't think it would have worked if they brought in a new actress to replace Sarah. I actually think she was perfect for for the role of Buffy.

It'd be great if the cast agreed to do a movie. I think it'd be a big success!

Sarah may not be greatest actress of all time, but the Buffy part was a perfect fit for her. Jessica Biel? Sorry, I'm just not seeing it. I don't think she fits the part at all. Maybe Kristen Bell could have pulled off the Buffy part. I don't see what it matters who else could have played Buffy though. I mean, if we're just discussing this because Sarah quit after seven years.....Seven years is a good run. And much as I hate saying this, if Alyson doesn't get along with Sarah just because she decided seven years was enough for her, well that's just silly. Sarah has every right to do what she wants with her life. Of course, there could be plenty of other more legitimate reasons for them not to get along. But I'd rather not speculate.

haha. I like this. Mainly 'cause its how I like to think, head in the sand... everyone loves each other. 😀
 
Haha Alyson seems to be the one who doesn't get along with her cast members... although the same is said about Sarah.

Alyson obviously doesn't like Sarah or Julie, and Sarah, I guess, dislikes Alyson, and I've heard about her getting into fights with Emma.
 
Personally I think it's blown out of proportion and that it wasn't much issues on set. Not more than normal anyway.

Sarah and Alyson might not be the best friends as the once was but that doesn't mean that they would have any problems working together.

And I certainly don't think this is anything that bother them nowdays and therefor it doesn't bother me. 🙂

SMG was the right choice as Buffy,but i first saw her in Swans Crossing,ooh the acting lol.
Jessica alba as Faith maybe,not Buffy,imho.
As for the rift,times a great healer,sometimes.

Alba as Faith....droool. In fact, I think a 3-way bit of slayerness should be written into the script. Alba, Eliza, and Gellar... 'The Slayers'
Exactly what do we know about their relationship to one another anyway? I mean, just because they don't get together doesn't mean there's some deep hatred between the two of them. I've worked with plenty of people that I got along with just fine, but never get together with upon one of us leaving the job. Some relationships are just work relationships.
 
I don't know though. I saw some behind the scenes photos where Sarah was on the set on a movie somewhere far away. She took a picture with a sign that said " I love you Aly!" and than Alyson sent one back saying " I miss you sarah! Buffy rules!" or something like that. Anyways, they just seemed like really close friends and those pics always stood out to me because I was always thinking how awesome it was that they were such great friends. I know we don't know anything, but my instinct is telling me something happened between them, if it is that time caused them to drift apart, or if something caused a rift. We probably won't ever know and it's most likely better we don't, since it seems like the sort of thing that is better kept private.

I think Jessica Alba would be cool as Faith but Jessica Biel as Buffy? Nuh uh.
 
Also, the Charisma/Joss feud, which I totally blame Joss for, and STILL think it was incredibly stupid to kill her off. And the way he went about doing it was sick.
 
I blame Joss for giving power to do whatever he or she wanted in S4 of AtS so he could do Buffy's last season cause look what happend.

AtS S4, BtvS S7, AND firefly S1... not surprising really. What is surprising is the depth of firefly. That had far more depth than both shows as a S1!

Whoa. There was a feud between them? Sorry, I was not aware of the verse when that all happened so I don't know about it. I tried looking it up on google but couldn't find anything. Would you maybe explain it? Joss and Charisma are so cool, I just can't see them fighting.
 
Well, Charisma didn't tell Joss she was pregnant in 2004 because she wasn't certain at the time, and it's not always something someone wants to just flaunt around. So she waited a while, and he was pissed when he found out, because she then asked for a break.

Since he was mad at her for telling him so late, he decided to get Cordy pregnant in the series, and have her have a demon child which would ultimately kill her. Sick, right?
 
That is really really horrible. I can't believe he would do that. That is so wrong.
