Were the rumours true about Alyson & Sarah?

Just about as horrible as concealing something that affects the jobs of hundreds of people and giving them no time to plan something around her condition...and wasting all their time setting something up that they couldn't go through with.
 
I'm not saying what she did was right. It was not. Joss had every right to be upset and to fire her. I can see where Charisma is coming from too, even though she could have made better decisions.
I just meant, did he have to do it in such a.....disturbing way? It's not like she was not really pregnant. It's just....odd that he would have her character's baby kill her while she was actually pregnant. But I guess her baby is ultimatley the reason that her role of Cordelia was killed off anyway. So technically, both her babys were the one to kill Cordy!

Yeah, I completely understand why she appeared in only one season five episode.

And I still blame Joss more than I blame Charisma, sorry.

It's ok that Cordy was pregnant, but I don't like that she slept with Connor. I just hope Joss didn't make Cordy sleep with Connor just because Charisma was pregnant. I mean, I just hope he didn't create Connor/Cordy relationship only for Charisma's pregnancy. If so, I can start feeling bad about Joss right now.

I see why she did it, but I agree with Buffy. When you work on a series like that, you need to give the writers and everyone to deal with the situation before they set to work on your part in the future series.

I really can't imagine Joss doing it in a malicious way though. Think about how much time she would have off with maternity leave as well as the chance that she might not actually want to come back if she's comfortable enough not to have to. I guess he just decided to make a drastic decision in order to be able to carry on writing and stuff without having to always come up with a back up plan if Charisma wasn't in. Obviously, that's just speculation.

Plus, I imagine Charisma Carpenter could have taken Joss to court for something like that. It's been quite prominent over here in recent years with women who work and who lose their jobs because of maternity leave and stuff.

Charisma seems to think Joss did it because he was mad at her.

Either way, I'm happy that her and Joss fixed up whatever problem they had.

Yeah I heard about this. In the begining of the show I know I read that Sarah and Alysson have a strong friendship, so I was surprised when I read this. But I think she has best relathionship with David, they were really close, but I saw at Paleyfest, at Buffy reunion, Sarah and Nicholas are friendly 🙂

Yeah Sarah and David were close!They were the only ones who could understand Bangel so well!;) And also Sarah is friends with Seth Green,I think.
As much as I love Joss and his genius, the whole Charisma fight made me upset with him.
Charisma did a great job at the interview though, telling it like it is.

We all have our moments, bad and good, and we all make bad judgement calls sometimes. I still love Joss and Charisma both regardless of what went down.
 
Yeah Joss' whole fight with Charisma and the fact that he wrote her a shitty storyline because of it was the moment I decided Joss is probably an ass. LMAO
