I was having a discussion with one of my friends before because we were watching "Chosen." We were fighting over who we saw in the Hellmouth battle. I said that I never saw Chao-Ahn, Caridad or Shannon in the final battle, but she said she did. I don't know how Shannon could have been there, though, since she was kinda in the hospital. Anyone know if those three were there or not?

Well Kristy Wu (Chao-Ahn) is listed at IMDB.com as being in Chosen.

There's that one bit where an oriental girl is doing a flying through the air kick in the background of the final battle. Is that Chao-Ahn? I'm pretty sure there's a scene of an oriental girl being bitten too.

I think someone told me once Chao-Ahn is one of the injured girl's Vi is tending to on the Bus.

I don't remember seeing Shannon in the final battle, but Mary Wilcher who played her is listed as being in Chosen.

Dania Ramirez's (Caridad) last listed appearance on Buffy is in End of Days.

On the other hand if you check this fan site http://www.pylia.co.uk/potentials_and_scythe_activated.htm they claim Caridad was in and survived the final battle. They also claim Shannon was not.

I think there's a book called Chosen by Nancy Holder that contains her version of the whole of Season 7. Some of the confusion may be a result of the action as portrayed there. I don't know for sure. I'm just guessing.

Previously to the publication of Chosen though Joss Whedon claimed no connection to the books, so I don't think any discrepancy appearing in the book should be taken as being more credible than what appears on screen.

Another possible explanation to the discrepancies might possibly come from this fanfic script that floats around the internet, and on occasion gives people some pretty twisted ideas about what happened in Chosen. You'll hear it called either "the original script", or "the alternative script". What it actually is, is fanfic pasted into a pilfered transcript.

If you check the whedonverse threads, I have a thread there called: "Into every generation a slayer is born..."
In that thread I explain all the answers. All your answer will be explained there.Just read my answers.

I remember Chao-Ahn being in the final battle...as Buffy slices the heads off the two Ubervamps, Chao-Ahn is flying through the air - it makes me goosepimply every time!

Plus, when Buffy first looks over the edge of the Hellmouth Caverns kind of things, theres an asian girl standing behind her, and then Chao-Ahn is behind her...

Oh my.Did any of you guys read my thread?I explained this.A ubervamp actor explained this in an on set article. He said that the asian girl you saw, was another extra.Chao Ahn, and Caridad weren't in the episode. And it didn't really matter because the fans mite of just thought that they were there anyways. That girl was just an extra, not Chao Ahn.If you read my thread, which i said which one it was earlier, i explain everything about the missing potentials.

I gotta believe IMDB...if Chao-Ahn was listed as being in Chosen, when else was she seen before the battle for her to get that credit?? And at www.restlessbtvs.com, a fairly reliable site, it lists that Chao-Ahn fought in, and survived the final battle.

Would you believe a site?Or a actor who wroter an on set report, during Chosen? The ubvervamp actor explained everything. He said that there was only a few ubervamps, but they multiplied it on screen. He said that the girl itten by the ubervamp, is not chao ahn, just another extra. He also said that the girl everyone sees wearing blue, slicing demons, is another extra. The girl you see who survives, and stands with Shannon, at the end of the ep, is Injured Girl. That's the name used to announce her character. She has an unknown name. She only had to two 3 lines in buffy. What? What? What?
She said those lines during the ep, where anya is tending her.She is being tended by xander at the end of chosen, inside the bus.If I find the on set report in the internet, I will post it here.

Here's one part of the on set report.I'll try looking for the other one.

Enjoy!

IMDB usually has their stuff straight...as for believing an actor...that's up there with believing a politician.

Im still lookin for the other one.Sorry, I'm having trouble finding the other one.I'm still looking for it.Okay, I can't find the other one.If you read the report, it says only Kennedy & Shannon had stunt doubles. It shows alot of info.I can't seem to find the other one.Thw other one talks about how Chao Ahn wasn't in that episode. And I don't think it really mattered.Chloe was absent for potential. The audience, made up many reasons why.It didn't really matter if Cardidad or Chao Ahn was not in the ep, because the fans would think that they are there, in the group of potentials. The girl you see at the end of the ep, standing beside shannon, is Injured Girl. She escapes with Vi and Rona. You see her, Vi, & Rona runnin out of the building. So thats three SITs, then you see 4 potentials runnin out, and one of them has to be shannon, cause she later appears standing with injured girl, near the school bus, and near xander & andrew, who are talking. One of the four picks up andrew. Then you see will, kennedy, xander, and dawn run out.So another slayer survived, that's kennedy. So 8 Scythe activated slayers survived.

Oh and By the way, the source for the article you posted was not Buffy.Nu it was SMGboard.com. Buffy.Nu tends to swipe articles from other sites, so you have to pay attention when posting sources. Just a friendly FYI.

I know it wasn't posted by buffy.nu.Buffy.nu is a linker. It links posts from other sites. It gives credit to smgboard, on the page it shows where it got it from.Smgboard is not the only place, where the report is found.Smgboard didn't own that article, the ubvamp actor did.And it was found, and posted. The report can be found it sites such as whedonesque.com, spoilerlsayer, my site, and many others..

When Buffy.Nu posts an article with another site credited, you must credit that original site in order to avoid plagiarism.
