With the final (Chosen) were you happy, with how it ended? I want more, I agree, but it's great😀

Much like Rayne puts it, I think it goes without saying that all plot holes and lingering loose ends need ALWAYS be addressed and resolved to achieve a TRUE sense of closure. That goes for ANY series, and most especially for BTVS. Many will say that Buffy came full circle, but that can never be true until someday down the line they decide to do a movie or series of movies that, hopefully, will tie everything up.

The final episode needed to be more epic in scale (yes, I know we're talking TV budgeting here, but trust me, it HAS been done), was too short (two hours was needed), was lacking in emotion in certain areas, and was too rushed.....that last point being totally representative of the whole second half of Season 7. The season started off promisingly enough, until the introduction of the SITs. After that it was as if Joss and Co. just didn't have it in them anymore, and just wanted to get it over with. And that leaves me dissapointed, especially after six and a half years of sustained brilliance, to just end things in such a way.
The final episode was ok for a REGULAR episode, but not as a series finale.
Let's just hope that, if and when it is time for the ANGEL series to move on ( *cough*....NEVER...*cough*...NEVER), that Joss and MUTANT ENEMY will have learned from past errors, put the heart back into their work, and do the fans some real justice.

I really liked it, love how much Spike had to do - though the ending made it seem like there could have been more that happened, if you get my meaning.

I don't know. I think it was horrible the way it ended, especially with Anya and Spike dying. I think it felt incomplete, like there was something more that should've happened, but i don't know what.

I enjoyed the episode but I just felt like they left somethings a little low key, like the way Anya died 🙁

Im not happy really with how it ended. I mean, it WAS a great ending, but I think we needed more, more emotion, more action, more blood, more sweat.
Obviously I'm not happy becuase Anya died, but thats beside the point. I think we needed another character to die, Dawn maybe or Giles. Buffy said that it was a war, and people were going to die, and thats true, people did, but Spike's back on Angel and everything, it seemed like the only major character to die was Anya
I think it needed maybe to be a two hour special.
It seemed to rush through everything, which I know Joss could have dealt with better. As I said, it WAS a great finale, but I think it needed more!

yeah, i think it should have bee 2 hours also....but i was pretty much satsfied w/ how it ended. I think they tied everything up pretty well

It was a good episode. A two hour finale would have been great, but I was happy enough with Chosen.

Still can't get over the fact that I won't be seeing my favourite characters again (Xander, for example). Well, I can still hold out hope for that movie...
