I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find the thread.

Would it be, somehow, possible that there'd be a vampire werewolf? Like, a vampire, but a werewolf during those three nights?
Would that werewolf have some urge to drink blood or it's normal urge of maiming?

If a vamp gets bitten, would he turn? (For some reason, it just didn't seem right to me. Kept thinking it had to be a human.)
But, what happens in the unlikely event of a werewolf, in human form at the time, gets vampified (shhh, Buffy-isms still reign supreme over me)?

No I think you've got first dibs on this one. 🙂

There was once a thread about vampire animals, like what happens if a Vampire gets the urge to vamp a duck, but Vampire-Werewolves, this is the first time I've seen this one. LOL.

hahaha, a vampire duck! that would be a crazy thing to see
This is a pretty funny idea actually. I don't think it would work though, possibly because a vampire is dead, so he or she wouldn't turn.

I'm not sure if it was exactly the same thing, but Underworld had a similar werewolf/vampire hybrid idea. I think it was called a Lichen or something. It looked mostly like a werewolf but bigger, and a bit blue if I remember right.

Haven't seen the film for ages (and haven't seen the sequel) so maybe someone else can give more info about this.

Oh right... I didn't like Underworld.
Lycan is werewolf.

So, you smartypants people wouldn't think that the vamp would still werewolf out during those three nights of the month?

Yeah, anytime I see any other vampire type movie or show I always get mad because the rules are always different. Like Interview with a Vampire, that used to be my favorite movie ever and now seeing it, im like THAT ISNT HOW IT WORKS!!! But as for the vampire/werewolf thing, I bet it could happen if Joss would have thought of it and liked the idea.

I could see it happening, although you'd need to know the science of Vampirism and Werewolfism (?) to know for sure.

Like a human has all human cells and when Werewolfism is passed on to them by coming into contact with the saliva of a werewolf. And that spreads to every cell in the body and upon coming into contact with the full moon you transform into a werewolf, but for the rest of the month you have normal cells. It seems like the werewolf overrides the human of you and takes over.

And we know that Vampires work in the same way they transfer by the exchange of blood. Making all the cells of a human body, vampire cells. so it is possible if they came into contact with a werewolf and were bitten the werewolf cells could override the vampire cells and transform them into a werewolf. Not sure if they would have vampire like characteristics, like if there is none of the human in the werewolf from a normal bite, the complete transformation and lack of control over what they are doing, it seems possible it would apply to vampire-werewolf hybrids.

But they wouldn't last long, once the werewolf takes over the vampire would have no control and wouldn't transform back until sunrise, which unless they were conveniently under some shade from direct sunlight they would go poof.

It could also be that the Vampire cells would irradiate the werewolfism, or maybe since they don't get sick they have an advanced immune system, like they do healing system, and are immunised against all other diseases - and it would classify Werewolfism?

Also it's possible that the Werewolfism would be similar to a virus, the cells would enter the body and inject their genetic material into the cell and duplicate from there. In which case they would need to be using living cells - but then again vampire cells are able to undergo mitosis, duplicate, and at a rapid rate, which is how they heal. If they still works at a cellular level, they must only be classified as non-living cuz they don't have some of the other 6 characistics of living, like breathing
