I’m so glad that happened because easily, Wesley became my favorite character in Angel with Cordy coming in as close second.

I am currently in Angel season 5 at my current re-watch and I just watched Illyria “take over” if you know what I mean… 😭

Wesley is such a great character, I would say he's the most underrated in the Buffyverse because while he is liked it's still not enough considering how good he is and he becomes really hot for season 4 and 5 of Angel.

 

[Stake fodder]

He has a great arc, and it's a credit to the actor and the writing that we believe this is the same guy who started out such an annoying, fumbling pest on BtVS.
