I had a thought the other day and have not looked at any of the season 4 spoilers.

Could Wesleys current position be a part of a plan to infiltrate Worlfram and Hart from the inside. Maybe only he and Angel know of the plan, I thought he may have read another prophecy telling of Connors return and told Angel off camera.

Does anyone think its viable or not? Or does a spoiler say otherwise.

As I said just a thought because its seems uncharacteristic of him to not try to contact any of the others or vise-versa.

Any thoughts??

I'd like to see Wesley infiltrate W&H as a mole, but I can't see how his falling out with Angel over Connor's kidnapping could *not* be real.

As for his isolation from the other AI people, I did find that somewhat unnatural. At first Fred and Gunn were all concerned and sympathetic, then they seemed to do an about-face after Angel attacked Wesley in the hospital. They could easily have talked to Wesley without rubbing it in Angel's face, and vice-versa.

So, I don't know if this supports your theory, or is just unconvincing (IMHO) writing...

Spoilers *seem* to say Wesley experiences more of his "dark side" before eventually returning to AI, but that could mean a lot of different things.

The writing on both shows (Buffy and Angel) has generally been of a high standard. There are episodes which are poor but as this situation is a large story arc then it would be very disappointing to find there isn't any more to it. 😕

It was so bad that evryone turn their back to Wes the only thing he wanted to do was protect his friend son and he was tricked and betrayed

I was so sad that they all turned against Wes! They have to invite him back into the family. Im also behind spoiler wise. Wes saved Angel?

I'm behind on spoilers, too. But in Angel's case, Wes might be feeling some subliminal guilt. (Whereas with the other AI folks he'd probably be more uncomplicatedly angry and betrayed.)

I agree Tyra. Poor Wes! Oh i hope they bring him back to the team. He's 'family,' right?!

i too would like to think that Angels current hatred of Wesley was all a rouse, but the better half of my judgement doubts it,he would have seriously tried to kill wesley if it was just some rouse, and Angel would have silently asked for Wesleys help those couple of times fred was going to,but it's nice to know someone has some fresh ideas and open possibilities in mind 🙂

wow atlast I'm not the only one who thinks this...I do agree with erebus that maybe he is working from the inside out to destroy Wolfman and Hart.

But, I don't think Angel has anything to do with it...it would spoil everything that has happened in Season Three. I can see Wesley being one of those people (now, not back when we first saw him) as someone who would take on something like this. Maybe there is something he knows that no one does?

Yea, and from the spoilers I've read (from the UK u see) he does save Angel.

Evil/Dark Wesley...alot of people I know at the other board want this to happen...it would be sooooo cool! 😀

I agree that perhaps Wesley is working to destory W&H from within. It does seem kind of doubtful now, since he is so involved with Lilah, but that could just be a ploy as well since he doesn't seem as attached to her and she does to him. Could it be that Wesley is just using her?

And Evil/Dark Wesley is my idea of a lot of fun 😉
