Question Wesley vs Gunn

Gunn, he's stronger than Wesley (though Wesley was more resourceful and used weapons moreso than Gunn).
 
I am going to go with Wesley for the simple fact of he would bring out those guns of his.
Plus he could open up a portal on Gunn.
 
I think Gunn is physically stronger than Wes, but I think Wes would outsmart Gunn in a fight and win. Like others said, Wes is much more resourceful with weapons and techniques while Gunn is all quick action and muscle.
 
Wesley was a rouge demon hunter before joining team Angel. Gunn only killed vampires.

I don't know how successful Wesley was at that, though. Don't forget how much he fought in the Graduation battle which wasn't long before he went "rogue," for example. Also, not to be nitpicky, but other demons looked down on vamps for essentially being a demon mudblood, not because they were weak.

Marisa has a point; in hand-to-hand combat and Wes begins to loose he'd just pull out the guns, haha. If we're talking hand-to-hand, Gunn would win. Rapier, Wes maybe. Magic battle, Wes. Bow staff, Gunn ... Gunn just has better odds, except when it comes to Wesley's firearms.

Questions like these make me wish we had a Street Fighter game for the Buffyverse. Fricken fun.
 
If Wesley and Gunn were to fight in a fist to fist match, Gunn would win, but if they were out to kill eachother, Wesley wouldn't have a problem pulling out a shotgun and blowing his head off.
 
Difficult to say in the end? I'd say Wes, I guess. In the fight against the National Guard in 'Sacrifice' he was actually the last one standing, only beaten by the preternaturally strong Connor. That's without guns, that's got to mean something? Overall, I'd say out of Team Angel, Wes is biggest human threat.
 
Personally if it was Post season 4 then Wesley would beat Gunn. If Gunn was facing the Wesley from Buffy Season 3 then Wesley would 100% lose.
