This is the first board that I've been on from the beginning to hit 1000 members, so thanks to everyone!

I missed who was the 1000th person, but a big welcome to you, whoever you are 🙂

Yes, congrats to all involved in making the boards such a good place to post, and to all our members who contribute so much! Afterall, it's the members that make the place.😉
 
I think Laura Summers was the 1000th person to join. I was online at the time before the 1001th person joined, and I'm pretty sure I saw it was Laura Summers.

But anyway, congrats to the boards!:: tu ::
 
Big, big achievement... long may the boards progression and inclusion of such fine, upstanding people continue. 🙂

That's not the 1000th member. It's obvious because they joined on June 25th, which is before we even made it to 1000 members.

you're right, i didn't notice that.
it's strange, because according to the url he is the 1000th member
it was laura summers, like you said
according to her profile's url, she's the 1076th member

let's just say i'm retarded and leave it at that
 
The reason (I would imagine) is that once a while back I think we deleted people who had not activated their registrations.

But vbulletin doesn't renumber everyone or re-use old numbers, hence the discrepency.

Weird, I know 🙂
 
Woohoo - thats such great news! Its the amount of different people with all the different personalities and opinions that helps to make these boards so great!
