What’s your favourite word and why?

I suddenly realised how moch I like the Norwegian word "kjæreste". When used as a noun it literally translates as "the dearest" and covers both boy- and girlfriend.

Bastardisation. Meaning a deviation or corruption of. Can be used to define almost any slang word, for example 'ho', a bastardisation of whore'.

and beyond that "absquatulate" is a new favorite and "kumquat" ... things that just taste good in your mouth 😀
