I have worked in a shop for the last 5 years but I have just started a new job. It was my intention to leave the shop altogether, however my plan didn't quite work out as my coworkers wouldn't let me leave...they said things would be boring if I left and that I wasn't allowed go. Ever.
I think that was the nicest thing anyone has said about me.

Oh also, I was Headgirl in sceondary school (stop laughing!!!) and I had to give the final speech at our graduation. I was absolutely terrified about it. So I gave the speech and I got a standing ovation. It was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for me, and the fact that 500 people did it just made it nicer.

Keanoite and I were PMing about the RPG a little while ago. When I said I felt like my Xander was starting to fall out-of-character, she said: "Honestly you have Xander done! to the point where sometimes I wonder if you are secretly Joss!"

I've been feeling very self-conscious about like, life lately -- especially about writing, since I'm starting to think my pursue-my-dreams gamble has failed in a costly and possibly irrevocable way -- so for someone to liken my casual, unedited, rough-draft quality RPG writing to one of my favorite writers gave my heart a happy and made me feel better about my more serious stuff. I smiled for the rest of the evening and bragged to my hubby, my roommate, and my friends. Cuz I'm all easy to please like that. lol. Thanks, Keanoite!

It's so nice to read about everyone's niceness! (man, ever the wordsmith...that's me! 😉 )

Somewhat strange compliment I got from the Chairman of the company I work for. After helping him out over the phone with getting contact details he says to me "Thanks! Your blood should be bottled!"

It took me a bit to get my head around it but I do hope he meant it in a nice way! lol
