Ok I need help, i have to do some coursework and thats my titile but i cant find any websites with figures for revenue from alochol, jobs that the industry provides, etc Can anyone help, also a general discussion would help to if people are interested in this subject as im sure i could withdra some relevant and useful arguements from you guys lol
 
Whoa, neat theme for a paper, or whatever. Just as sort of a case study, you might want to investigate Prohibition in America a little bit. That basically created a new, underground economy of bootleggers and speakeasys, back in the '20s. So, the gangsters ended up reaping much of the alcohol profits that regular folks would have gotten previously.
 
Here is a link which gives UK government revenues derived from alcohol duties from a couple of years ago - it also has some background on why it is taxed and a load of links which may or may not be useful to you.

Hey, whatever happened to the "Don't drink and drive" campaign? I just figured it applied to driving the computer too...or maybe it should, eh?😉 I can honestly say I've never posted here drunk, despite the accusations...by the time I get drunk enough to think about posting here, I usually have a hard time finding the computer...
