I watched these shows last year and I've decided they are my favourite shows, besides Buffy/Angel etc of course..

Can anyone recommend shows like them, or that someone who liked these shows would enjoy?

What they have in common - both have mystery, drama, interesting character, supernatural element. House to me is like a supernatural show disguided as medical.

Veronica Mars is very Buffy-like, but without any supernatural element. It ticks all the other boxes though and its dialogue is Buffy-worthy in terms of quips.

Also I've heard good things about 'The Librarians', which is light-hearted supernatural stuff.

I can see your point but I think you'll find it's a detective show disguised as a medical drama. 😉 There's a reason House has a similar name to Holmes; there's a reason James Wilson has a similar name to John Watson. Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of the original Sherlock Holmes stories, was a medical doctor and clamed he based Holmes on the consultant he trained under at Edinburgh, Joseph Bell. Holmes describes himself as a Consulting Detective. He also had an addiction (to cocaine not Vicodin). There are other parallels.

Have you tried Supernatural? It ticks all your boxes (even has episodes featuring Buffy/Angel actors - James, Charisma, Amy for example).

If you like Buffy I would suggest Jessica Jones. For other supernatural show that I liked I would suggest Fringe. I loved Dexter! The only others serial killer series that I liked are Bates Motel and Hannibal which is very good!

Forgot Jessica Jones! 😳
Maybe also the other Netflix Marvel shows (like DareDevil).

I'd include Runaways as well, with the added advantage that its not really connected to the rest of the MCU.

I'm pretty sure its nothing like those shows, but I've just recently started Alias for the first time. Ever. It is truly amazing. Jam packed with intense stuffs and awesome plot twists! I am really enjoying it so far but I am just unsure with how they are going to take it going into season 3. I'll be finishing season 2 tonight. Highly recommend it. I didnt expect Jennifer Garner to play the part as well as she does.
