What are you being for Halloween?

I'm not dressing up this year (going to be out of town, so not really celebrating halloween :sad🙂 but I do have a REALLY cool costume that I made last year. I was a "victim" from the scary movies. It's a striped dress, with holes ripped in it and fake blood everywhere. I did my face like I was dead, and it turned out pretty freaky. I'll see if I can't find pics later....


My son is going to be a little vampire this year
He was a bumblebee last year
And Dylan (his name) was a "Dill Pickle" the year before! It was his first halloween, and he was so cute!

OMG! icant believe it but i talked my boyfriend in to going as spike. (hes upset cuz his brother is going as angeland thats what he wanted to be) works for me i'm going as drusilla (heavy set drusilla) and his sister is going as buffy. I talked my sister in as going as faith.

i cant wait to help my bf with his spike look. not only will i be the coolest vamp girl on buffy but i will have my spikey on my arm.

im so lucky the stars are shining down on be and when halloween comes they will scream. lol
 
Ooh, that sounds so fun! Currently boyfriendless, haha, so I'm just going to hang out with my friends and we're going to be the Dr. Horrible ensemble.
 
I was going to as the Queen of Hearts (from Alice in Wonderland) but I waited too long and the one I wanted is out of stock. Now I'm just a bumble bee 🙁

But naaahh, other than that, there's been some talk about it. I just brought this kinda fancy dress here so I would love to wear it, BUT I don't know how I could make it work. One of my roommates said I should dress up as Darla, as she worse this red dress, but the one I have is red and black. Which could qualify me as a Cordy, but there (and also with Darla btw) I have hair colour trouble. I have this generally brownish hair with a touch of red in it (what the hell can I do it), and I would dye it, the only trouble is that this is already a dyed colour, and from what I've heard you're not supposed to mix colours like that, you never know what you get in the end, and what could stay on permanent. So yeah, I'm clueless.
 
I'm not going out, so not dressing up as anything. I will be staying in to give out candy 😀 (which will be fun, since I've never been at the door for trick or treaters)

My boyfriend is joking with me that he's going to paint my belly as a pumpkin though. We saw a pic of a pregnant woman on the internet who had painted her belly as an easter egg, hence the inspiration. I'm not so sure about it though hahaha

I'm going to dress-up as a mentally ill person, that means I get to wear whatever I usually wear, just 'normal' looking.
 
Maybe I should drop all my plans and just slap a "Hello my name is weird" sticker on
 
I'm thinking of going as "The Scarlet Letter." All i need to do is tape a big red "A" to my chest. I work in a book store and we're encouraged to dress up for Halloween, hence the literary leanings.

Other ideas include a funny (and not work appropriate) version of "Moby Dick," taping a bunch of magazine pages to me and going as "Vanity Fair," creating a window out of a box and going as "A Room with a View," cutting a heart out of cardboard and going as "The Tell-Tale Heart," putting a kilt on said same heart and going as "Braveheart," a funny (and, again, not work appropriate) version of "Humphrey Clinker," getting one of those vampire-on-the-neck costumes and dressing as a news reporter for "Interview with the Vampire," getting one of those backwards man costumes and dressing as "Oliver Twist..." and, umm, that's all I've got right now. Any favorites? Any suggestions?
