What were you always best at in school? What subject, sports, after school activity etc

In high school I was good in most humanities but I used to find hard biology, chemistry and maths. Now at university I've decided to study psychology and I'm starting to really like all the biological aspect! Who'd have known! 🙂

What was I best at? Well I have always been ok at most subjects, never considered myself the best at any of them though. At the moment I am doing Maths, Philosophy, English and Psychology, all of which I would say I am near the top of my class, except english... I suck at english 😛

I passed all my English classes with flying colors. The easiest subject, IMO. I also did good in electives like Drama and Music. If it's creative, then I'll pass, without a doubt. Now Math? You couldn't pay me enough to sit through that class. I hated Math! And history, for some odd reason. I can explain to you what happened during The Boxer Rebellion on Buffy, but start talking about the Cold War, and I could care less. 😛

In school it was religion. It was the only subject I thought was interesting. I really sucked at math and biology..

English and swedish. I got the highest grades in all courses available in the Swedish gymnasium (Svenska A, B & C, Engelska A, B & C) I went to. It's funny, because for thew gymnasium, which is pretty much the swedish version of high school, I had low grades in both subjects. But when I started the gymnasium only one bully came with to the programme I studied so I finally dared to show of in class and actually found it fun to study and be good.

I enjoyed and did well in International relations, history, English and a few shorter courses we had such as rhetoric and literary criticism and those courses that pretty much just consisted of writing a giant essay specializing on one topic... yikes those were always a sweaty process but somehow I pulled them off (I wrote one soley dedicated to Dutch litterature from 1700-1900, not the most thrilling stuff 😉)

I was terrible in math. I remember we had these ''portfolio's'' we had to do, basically solve some kind of problem (that I never really got btw) then explaining how we had done it in a short essay. I'm pretty sure whatever I scribbled down provided my teacher with a lot of laughs.

Does Library count? That's where I spent most of my spare time in high school.

Other than Library, I would have to say English and Literature. I was lucky enough to have an instructor who was both highly dedicated and amazingly knowledgeable in her subject. Miss Sarah Wingard could make even diagramming sentences and conjugating verbs interesting and challenging.

From now on I'll call you Giles! :D
I always did really well in English and in anything arts-related, such as art, choir, drama... I also did pretty well in Social Studies. However Science and Math stress me out so much I could break out in hives... No kidding. Last winter I took a Statistics class and it drove me to drink, it stressed me out so badly. LOL

I do a good job at history and religion but I suck at math and chemistry. I enjoy English-class. I also have fun with biology but I am just middle good at it. What means that I will write my last exam in it (for this year) tomorrow. What means I'm crazzy cause I still spent time online here instead of learning about axons and synapses. Aaaaarrrhhhh...

I always enjoyed and did well in Government and Politics, History, Art and Athletics (basketball and soccer). I also really enjoyed most of my English and literature classes, although they weren't my strong suit.

I fell behind in Algebra and unfortunately was never able to really grasp much beyond that as I didn't have a good math foundation. I suspect if I went back and retook math courses I'd do just fine.

One subject I always wished I was better at is foreign languages. I've always wanted to learn multiple languages but I really really struggle with it.

If it counts, I had A all through high school (I was working at the library when I wasn't in class 😀) and I guess I'm going to have to come back and comment when I'll be in uni (gonna study to be a librarian)

Forgot in college I was also good in Spanish and tutoring (yes, I had a tutoring class to take before becoming an accredited tutor)

As for what I sucked at, I'll have to say math and P.E. (mostly because I never attended because I sucked at any team sport because no one wanted me in their team *roll eyes*)

If I'm interested in the subject...I'll do well. Sooo I've never received a grade below a "B" in an English class.

Math is another story.

I love art, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, music...I do well in those subjects/classes. I'm pretty lazy so sometimes (most of the time) I don't do as well as I should.

I wouldn't say I did badly in anything apart from P.E. (I had 80% attendance because of P.E 😛) but I came out with my best grades in English Lit, Religious Studies and Geography.

I was pretty good at the languages, English, French and German and average at everything else. Apart from science. Words simply don't do justice to how badly me and science get along.

I'm guessing you had to take a foreign language when you were at school?

I hated French but took German 😛 I regret that since the most interesting thing that ever happened in that class was someone squirting foundation across the room. 😛

Yeah in year 9 we had to take two languages French and either Spanish or German. Then in year 10 when we took GCSE we had to choose whether or not to keep the second language and I did because I am a cunning linguist 😀

Sorry I use that line all the time. I am a bad person.
