What are you happy about today?

I am happy that someone apologised for falsely accusing me of an act I am truly incapable of.

I am also happy that I forgave them at their word and didn't make them beg for it.

I am happy that we are both bigger people than I gave either of us credit for.
 
I made a very nice Star Wars gift certificate (on Photofiltre) for my mom's friend birthday.
 
The task I'm currently procrastinating from is writing a paper that's part of my final exam. I am happy that I dared to contact a journalist and veterinarian that I admire to ask for an article I read ages ago, and überhappy that she answered quickly, throwing in a few more relevant links as well.

I'm happy that I'll probably be capable of sleeping tonight as my best friend and his girlfriend survived a car crash yesterday, that left all the occupants of the stolen vehicle that crashed into them, dead.

So I'm happy that seatbelts and airbags exist, and that my friends were cradled in both of them upon crashing.

That's certainly worth happiness.
I'm happy that I spent a full day lying in bed watching bad TV and movies yesterday.
I'm happy that today is one of the classic 'perfect-perth-weather' days.
I'm happy that I have been paid and can go shopping.
I'm happy that I still have 2 days off after today.
 
Had a day off work. 😀 Managed to get a good long sleep last night, got up, showered, and tidied, all before 12. And now I'm having black pudding for lunch. Mmmm, tasty blood.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBBBBBBBBBBBBAAA. I bet on Bubba Watson to win the Masters, and he went and won yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy. 🙂 🙂 🙂 friggin YES.
 
Managed to get a lot of work done today, think things are finally starting to take shape.
 
1. Well, the massive headache I had on Saturday is pretty much gone. I can make through the day without popping alot of pills, so that's a good thing. 🙂

2. Got lots of rest yesterday. I mean, like practically all day rest.

3. I came home and found that the Madonna concert tickets I ordered on Stub Hub arrived! November 8th at the Joe Louis Arena. It'll be my first time seeing her live. It's like my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one! 😀
 
So, this didn't affect my level of happiness but it made me smile! Check it out:

NYSC (a gym) has a new add out that reads: "Buff by Summer," and under that it says "Quit sucking it in." Whether it was meant to be a Buffy reference or not, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself that only a true fan would make the connection. 🙂

I'm happy because I'm going to to my first concert on May 10th! And it's my favorite band, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS! I'm so gonna die! 😀 And, I'll be going with my friend and current band member. We're getting really close lately, and we're ready to start recording songs. All's well in the world. 🙂
