I'm happy I FINALLY got my schedule for law school this fall! I'm really way too excited over school. It's kinda ridiculous. Don't tell, but we had a party at the dean's house yesterday where they revealed our schedules and they gave us t-shirts and I'm wearing mine as an undershirt today under my work uniform.

I told you, I'm way too excited over this.

I saw Joan Jett live last night. It was amazing. 😀

Also, I have not had power for over 38 hours. Being in the library with air and internet is amazing. 🙂

Bestie is coming today. Going to continue our SPN marathon with the new Sleeman Smirnoff lemonade drinks and some candies. And tonight I'm going to teach him to make Californian-style chicken. 🙂

I'm so happy there's a new thread!!!!!!! I've been holding in this gush about my experience seeing Fiona apple last night! Finally I can let it all come pouring out!

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before she came on two members of her band Blake (incredible guitarist by the way) and sebastian (awesome bassist) played a few songs. They were really really good!!!! At one point someone in the audience yelled out "I WANT FIONA!" and Blake goes "I know, me too! We're all here for the same reason. Cool your jets.". I dont know why but I thought that was so great!

Then SHE came out!!!! Wearing a brown tank top and a blue skirt that went down to her ankles and doc martins!!! And she was breathtakingly radiant!!!!!! She started singing right away. First song was "fast as you can" - the lighting was amazing! It totally went with the changes in the song.

The whole show was so incredible!!! I could not stop moving to every sound she made!

Also the girl sitting next to me was awesome!!!! We were talking a bunch about Fiona before the show started and then right before it started she blurted out "i just have to ask! Do you like Buffy?". I was like holy f-!!!!!!!! That totally blew me away! My eyes got really big and I was like "oh god YES!!!!!!". I told her about the boards. Hopefully she'll find her way here!

Ok and last thing - my husband gave me the biggest compliment ever!!!!! He said I was just like her!!!! And he started listing all these ways ranging from how I look to how I move. He said she and I are both very animal like in the way we move. SQUEAKY happy sound!!!!!

Phew!!! Good to get that off my chest!

OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD I....OHMYGOD. I am so happy right now because of the Weeds season 8 premiere. OH. MY. GOD. I..Just. SO GOOD. I am so proud and happy to be a fan of that show right now.

I'm happy because the power seems to be back on for good after being off most of the weekend.

I'm also happy because I just moved on Saturday and despite the lack of power, hubby and I managed to get everything unpacked and organized so all is good.

And I'm happy because I have no job to go to, so I get to sit around the house all day! (that's temporary, I have to start looking for something soon, but I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts!)

I'm also happy that everyone else is happy! Happiness is so contagious. 🙂

I'm happy because I'm going to see Ted tonight (which just looks freaking hilarious) and The Amazing Spiderman tomorrow. Also, I just finished re-watching the entire Buffy series and am just starting Angel S5. Chosen was such an epic finish, and just always makes me feel better about things. Basking in the post-Buffy glow!

But most of all, I'm especially happy I only have two weeks left before I move down to Santa Barbara for four months. I've been waiting for so long that it's pretty cool being almost at the finish line.

BtVS season 3 and 7 should be coming in the mail sometime this week!!! I am so excited to actually own these as season 3 is my favorite season and season 7 has such aesthetically pleasing episodes! Netflix, it's been fun; DVD-quality, here I come!! And not to mention all the graphics I can make with caps and clips from these episodes!
