Amazing performance.
Joshua Homme is the perfect example for why I prefer feeling to technical skills. He's not a great guitar player - I'd even say I'm a better soloist than he is, which isn't too difficult - but he's incredibly creative and just feels the music in a way I wish I could. What a songwriter.
I'm listening to Howard Shore's score of The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. Not a huge fan of the movie, but the score is absolutely brilliant. And I don't just mean the themes themselves. Shore's use of the leitmotif technique is incredibly complex and thoughtful.
