I mean I guess its quite well written and the riff is distinct but boy is cheesy!😉 I just have this funny idea of you hanging out with your mates and saying, "I have some cool and retro to put on"

And one of them is like, "Really, what is it the Smiths? I fancy a bit of Bowie? Duran Duran?"😀
 
The W can stand for 'Why' too. 😉 Also that is all just in your opinion - thank you very much! 😵

I have a soft spot for this song, always have. Especially since the Foo Fighters covered it back in '97 when The Colour and the Shape was released. I love the contrast of the original having a sax solo and the Foos version having a guitar solo (which works so well!). Plus, y'know, Rafferty is Scottish. 😀
