I started the audiobook of Stephen King’s The Mist. Read by Will Patton, who you may recognize from the recent Halloween movies as Officer Hawkins. His scratchy voice is very perfect for the narration.

The reading he does for this is just out of this world good. I’m a little disappointed that Simon and Schuster didn’t add in sound effects, so things like a chainsaw starting up are read like onomatopoeia by Patton, but the overall quality of the recording is great. The way he reads out things like “he did not walk into the mist but was dragged into it” is chilling 😵‍💫

Think I might actually rank this album above Insomniac and Revolution Radio nowadays...

I was at the British Car Day yesterday and British Invasion music was playing all day long, including this gem that never got airplay after its brief presence on the charts:

There was little of the Beatles and none of the Rolling Stones on the playlist but there was some Cream. It's great to have a British playlist where lesser acts are not crowded out by the biggest sellers.

A song I wish everyone had to listen to at least once. We’re all fighting the same fights and jumping the same hurdles, so why trip each other up?

Its been awhile

Some crowd for a pandemic

I subscribed to Apple Music about a month or two ago and that has been such a good decision. Recently have been checking out their music channels and have come across some good songs!
