What are you reading 2

At the moment:

"The Tall Men" by Clay Fisher, the novel that the western classic movie of the same name, starring Clark Gable, Jane Russell, and Robert Ryan, among others.

"The Marauders Of Gor" by John Norman, a science fiction/fantasy novel. I became totally disgusted with Norman's later Gor novels, but someone gave me this one and swore that I would like it, so I'm trying...

"The Last Stand Of The Tin Can Sailors," about the U S Navy destroyer fleet just after Pearl Harbor, when they, and a few submarines, were in effect the only naval force left to oppose the Japanese Imperial Fleet until new ships could be built, manned, and deployed.

"The Chessmen Of Mars," the 5th book in Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic Mars (as in "John Carter Of...") series. The better part of a century after first publication, and the Master is still unequaled.
 
Aside from a multitude of philosophy books, I'm reading The Phantom of the Opera at the moment.
 
For history class right now I'm reading "The Great Cat Massacre", or, well, trying to read is probably more accurate. It's alright, kind of slow though.

On my own I'm almost done "Killing Lincoln" by Bill O'Reilly, which is pretty interesting.
 
Just finished Orson Scott Card's "Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Colombus" and Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonsongs". I'm currently reading a Kathy Reich's Temperance Brennan mysteries and Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich.
 
Completely forgot to say, but I'm almost done with City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments: book one) by Clarissa Clare.

Good so far, but I'm kinda scared they're going to give us another love triangle............. I basically only started this book because it said on the back that Buffy fans would love it.
 
Finished City of Bones and City of Ashes. I couldn't put it down, I even had a hard time going back to work after my break when I read it XD But the 3rd one (City of Glass) was taken so while I wait for it I started a manga and a novel

The manga is Library Wars: Love & War by Kiiro Yumi (a manga about libraries, love and war, what's not to love!!)
and the novel is I'd tell you I love you, but I'd have to kill you by Ally Carter. Not the best so far, but I can't only rely on mangas so I had to pick something up... Not sure I'll finish it though... I might get back to the library tomorrow and pick up the new Anna Godbersen serie instead....




Yeah, yeah, I'm done with the story of my life XD
 
The Hobbit. I'm gearing myself up for the coming movie(s). I'm not far through it, but I like it so far. 😀

Must start reading it myself!
I'm actually re-reading this series I got as a kid from some Christian bookshop. It's called the Lily series. For some reason moving house created nostalgia and I decided to pull these tween books out again.
 
I'm reading Bright Young Things, Anna Godbersen's new novel serie. Just as good as The Luxe serie. A little harder to read than your average teen book, though.
 
I'm currently reading The Phantom of the Opera.

Very different from the musical and seems to break the fourth wall a lot, but somehow it works. Very accessible, would recommend it.
 
Taking a short break from Game of Thrones. Reading GONE by Michael Grant. I'm finding it hard to get into. I might read Hunger Games book 2 instead.
 
Killzone asscandancy quite decent to say its based on a game nearly whipped through it in two days and then back to my spiderman and batman graphic novels.
