So what are the ppl of the BB reading these days? I'm reading His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman and have to say I love 'em. I'm halfway through Subtle Knife and can't wait to get my hands on the Amber Spyglass. After that i might read the Da Vinic code ::noangel:

Hmm... I'm afraid to get into a good book right now... Too many things going on, and once I start reading, I can't stop...

Well, I gave up Harry Potter for Lent... So, right now I'm reading just random Wicca books... Things on meditation, and spiritual living... Yea...

I've been reading the Watcher's Guide Vol. 1, trying to bone up on my Buffy knowledge 😀

Oh... That's one of the ones I want to start reading, but again, scared of getting caught up in it... I also just read the Da Vinci Code... And its amazing... I'll probably re-read it again when I have time...

Right now I`m reading Anne Frank. It`s really a great book that gets you thinking. I really think everyone should read it!

I haven't read a book in months.. except this really thin book called "Across the barricades", and that was just for school, hehe. And I started reading "BtVS & Philosophy" months ago, it's really interesting but I never have time to finish it. I'm also reading some Swedish books, and well, re-reading Harry Potter books.. and reading parts from LOTR books..

I'm also reading His Dark Materials at the moment. I'm about halfway through The Amber Spyglass. It's certainly a thought provoking series and I'm enjoying it a lot.

The Comedy of Errors by Shakespeare for school... this one is funny btw. Then LoTR, in English, I'm trying to find some time to go with this one in English, but it's more like wandering through the book. Oh & reading to the Anime Manga Inu Yasha... that's just soo addictive!!! :jumping40

reading Through Violet Eyes by Stephen Woodworth, re-reading He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, reading Blink: The Power of Thinking without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell, and just finished The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Alborn and The Big Show by Steve Pond. As you can see, I like to read. 🙂 Everybody always says I'm weird because I can read so many books at one time, but I can. Oh, and also re-reading Old Yeller for English class.

That book is good. I, personally, like Dan Brown's Angels and Demons better 'cause it's the Illuminati blowing up Vatican.

I stoppped reading books for a while now... I was reading BtVS and AtS books but than theey got easy and now... I have no books to read. But! it's all good 'cause I have more time to sleep!

Well, being a teacher... I never seem to get out of the children's section of the bookstores.

I am currently on a quest to acquire/read every Caldecott and Newberry medal out there. But there is also non-medal winning quality literature that I need to read.

But generally, most children's books... you name 'em, I've read 'em.

So, right now I am reading: Junie B. Jones series and Magic Tree House series. Man, I live on the edge. 🙂.

The last 'adult' book I read was "The Five People You Meet in Heaven." It was pretty good.

Naughty naughty, adult books
I just got done reading Anne Frank! That book is really good and sad. Now, I'm reading A Child Called It. Then its gonna be The Lost Boy and then A Man Named Dave. The A child called it trilogy!

Currently not reading fiction but a book about how to dress.
If you watched Oprah the other day you would know who I'm talking about, Trinny and Susannah.

They are the best people to every give advice about how you should dress and the things they say, they are blunt and they make you laugh.

Example: "While this is naturally the most fabulous book ever, indispensable and life changing, its information will have absolutely no effect unless yo have appraised your shape. Oh God, what a vile and hideous think to have to do."

The one I'm reading is called What you wear can change your life, by Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine.

I heard they have a tv show, but it's sounds like it's only in the UK.

I just finished Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness for my "19[sup]th[/sup] and 20[sup]th[/sup] Century British Literature in Context"-class (fancy name, huh?) and I'm currenty reading Chinau Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" for that same class. I'm also reading Dicken's "Hard Times," which we'll have to read next period. Also, I believe we have to read "the Great Gatsby" for "Introduction to American Studies"-class.

Loved Gatsby :)
I seem to want to read multiple books at one time.. At the moment I've got Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, and Off The Cuff. (hehe) Well, Off The Cuff isn't a novel so it doesn't really interfere or confuse the storyline of Jonathan Strange..

I've also seen Angels & Demons for a good price, so I've been wanting to pick that up as well.

I just started re-reading"A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. Maybe this time I'll get my little brain around the "String thing"...

For diversion, at the suggestion of Mr. P, I've started on "The Colour of Magic" by Terry Pratchett.
