The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong...is about a film student who can see dead people, and is therefore classified as "schziophrenic" and is taken to a mental institution. She continues to see dead people and realized there's something very wrong in the place she's staying.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins...is about a televised event that occurs once a year in which a boy and a girl are chosen to fight to the death.

Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice...is about a vamprie who tells his significant, mysterious, and interesting life story.

Ooh, I didn't know about that Armstrong book. I want it!
Death's Daughter just arrived, well yesterday. I haven't started reading it yet, technically, but I'm going to start today. 😀
 
The second Buffy Omnibus book, and my history extended essay that i need to learn...which one do i prefer reading?? HHhhhmmmm....tough choice 😉
 
Right now I'm reading magazines. 😉 Movie and sci-fi mags. But I really want to start reading again. I always start books, 'misplace' them, then can't get back into the story. I spend more time reading the beginning of a book than anything else. I need a more organised brain.
 
I'm working on By the Sword by Mercedes Lackey, but I just bought From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris, which is the newest Sookie Stackhouse book and I can't WAIT!

The vampire diaries has been around over 18 years. And it's one of the best books series I've ever read. When I read it, I was 12, and I have held on to the passion for the books ever since.
It's hard to describe how the books are, because you have to read them, and then understand. Sadly you have to be patient, cos the first book isn't as good as the next.
It's the kind of book that makes your heart beat faster, and if you like vampires, and difficult love then it's a winner. *sigh*

But there are lots of reviews on the internet, and some places you can read a few chapters of the books

I am reading two books. I always do two at once. One for work/travel, and one for at home. My work/travel book is Everton, the school of science, the second is To Kill a Mockingbird (again).
 
I am currently reading "Roughing it" By Mark Twain, Gandhi's autobiography, and various writings from the awesome and amazing Romantic period (*squeal).
Also attempting to get through "Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy".

Philosophy can be very difficult.
A couple of days ago I started on Death's Daughter. It's pretty good so far, actually.
 
Right now I'm rereading the Harry Potter series and am on the fourth book. I think I'm going to throw Oscar Wilde's Complete Short Fiction in after this one.
 
I'm meant to be reading A Game of Thrones, the first part in A Song of Ice and Fire, but I keep getting distracted. 😛
 
Spanish for dummies and 3 different film magazines oh and a complete guide to film book, complete movie junkie 😀
