Finally finished the second one, so now I'm onto Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. 😀

I'm reading The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. I've started reading it about... I don't know, a month ago and different stuff came inbetween. I think I started reading it at a bad point because so far, I like the story but I can't just get into it and I just can't make any reading progress.

I've also started reading the first volume of Marvel's "Exiles" in PB. Currently, I'm on the second PB. It's pretty enjoyable so far.

I know i'm a little late 😛

but i'm reading Charlaine Harris , living dead in dallas.
Tru blood will be on wednesday , yaay 🙂

I just bought season 1 of True Blood and might start reading the series soon if my library actually stocks them

I just bought a few of the books but haven't had a chance to start them yet, I can't wait
Finished the Millenium-trilogy by Stieg Larsson. A bit different but I really loved the last two books. Me that never reads nowadays stayed up to 6 am finishing the second book. The first book isn't bad in any way but after having seen the movie first I knew all the big things happening which made it less interesting. No need to "just read the next chapter" since I knew what would happen.

Except the basic story the first book was a bit different that it didn't stop after the big reveal or what ever you should call it. It took the time to tie up loose ends and make sure you had a real end to the book. The second book took a whole new turn and had a lot more action and didn't have a good ending at all compared to the first book. Which is because the third book takes care of that. That's right. A whole book to make the ending/tie up loose ends. Not at all as boring as it might sound.

Don't really like to be like most people but here I don't have a choice. I really like these books and will recommend others to read them. There was supposed to be 10 books but the autor died. But since they could release three books instead of two it's still ok. Having to end with the second book had been very frustrating.

Now the question is if I'll go back to my none reading state or if I'll keep up reading, although not maybe hours and hours each day. Think I'll give Deception Point a chance since it's the last book of Dan Brown I got at home which I haven't read.

I just recently finished reading Patrick Swayze and Lisa Neimi's memoir, Time of My Life. I know it sounds like it would be a corny book, but I thought it was a very interesting read. You get to learn a lot about behind the scenes on projects that Swayze worked on, and reading it left me with some hope that someday I'll make something of myself. Even if you're not a huge fan, I'd still recommend it for a read. Again, there's some really interesting stories and quite a bit of wisdom in there.

Now I'm starting on Margaret Atwood's Year of the Flood, which is spectacular so far! I'll be sure to post a proper review when I'm done 🙂

I'm reading:
New Moon (I miss the Cullens, Bella is a boring character, If you ask me)
Notes On A Scandal (For English class)
Buffy the vampire slayer, Powers of Persuasion
And I have to be reading Blue Water for Dutch class. But I first have to finish these. *sighs*

I'm looking for a good vampire series other than Twilight (I hate Twilight with a passion) so I'm starting Vampire Academy. My library didn't have the first book so I'm reading the 2nd Frostbite. I hate reading a series out of order.

I also hate Twilight with a passion. If you are looking for another vamp series after this one, you should look into Anita Blake series

What about Vampire diaries or tru blood?

has anyone read vampire diaries?

I've saw them in shops, but they're probably trying to copy Twilight.;/

Does anyone find Tru blood ( tv series) not the books) a bit cheesy?

i dunno i just can't really get into it? LOL and the guy who plays Bill doesn't help either! lmfao. not that it's about looks.....

and Sookie , it says in the first book, that she 'giggled' right after her gran died, and she was more sad about her cat dieing.
LOL why would you 'giggle' after that. i can't really remember, so anyone can correct me if i am wrong. 🙂

I find True Blood a bit cheesy. Does not help that the scenes with Jason in S1 make me feel like I'm watching porn :o
Right now I'm trying to read 3 books at the same time. 😛 The new Charlie Brooker one, the new Kevin Smith one, and the autobiography of Vic Reeves. I  comedians.

Actually Tasha, Vampire Diaries was written well before Twilight. I remember reading the series sometime in the 1990s. They are re-releasing them because of the show.

I have True Blood books on hold plus Vampire Academy.

I'm currently reading "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak and "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley.
Both very good and very different books.

'Brave New World' is amazing and so unbelievably ahead of its time. To me, its just as ground-breaking as '1984' just not quite as well known.

I'm reading 'Phantastes' by George Macdonald, for my nineteenth-century fantasy class. I actually love it so far.

I can't wait until next Summer, I have SO many awesome books waiting to be read.

I need to start reading more again!
The last book I read was The Yellow Wallpaper a few weeks ago, but it hardly counts because it's like 20 pages long 😛
I'd rather watch DVDs than read, so lazy!!
