The Stand by Stephen King.

I am actually reading the expanded edition that has like 300 pages more than the original version. I kinda wanted to get totally lost in a world and it's characters and it's working for me. I care way too much about every one of these characters.

It is overly detailed, but I really don't mind it right now. I guess I'm just in the right frame of mind for it.

I'm reading "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, and I would definitley reccomed it to anyone interested in... well... anyone who can read. It is very good.

I am FINALLY done with Gone With the Wind (was about damn time, I was on the verge of killing Scarlett...)

Starting Secret Life of a Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks. It's the 6th book of the Love at Stake serie.

Inspired to give them a go due to the advocacy of white avenger my copies of The Collected John Carter of Mars vols 1-3 arrived today. Barsoom, here I come!

I hope that you find it as wonderful and exciting as I did almost 50 years ago, when I first discovered Barsoom, the world of brave warriors and wonderous beasts, where even the vilest of villains has a code of ethics and honor. Kaor!
I'm reading "If you ask me (and of course you won't)" by Betty White. Ah... seriously, so much love for this lady, she never fails to make me smile. Many hearts to Betty White for being Betty White   An easy and great read from a great personality! 🙂

I just finished "The Wind Through The Keyhole" by Stephen King. I liked it. It was nice going back into the Dark Tower world 🙂

I've just started "Deadlocked" by Charlaine Harris.

I LOVE this book...I was reading the original version, then saw the extended version in the Oxfam shop in Bangor for 99p, I bought it and gave them the original version because I thought there was no point having both of them

At the moment I'm reading Thin by Grace Bowman

I love this series!
Currently finishing Michael Connelly "The Brass Verdict" from the Michael Haller series (I love a good legal thriller) and then I've got the Game of Thrones series lined up. Haven't watched it but the books have been taunting and tempting me for a while.

Well I've finished reading Heat Rises and I can't wait until Frozen Heat!! Yep, "Richard Castle" is writing another book! Yay!!

I'm currently reading Airhead by Meg Cabot. It is very interesting. Can't wait to see how it plays out. 🙂

I'm listening to Bossypants by Tina Fey, I've read the book a few times, but it's so much cooler hearing it read by Tina.

I'm reading the Insurgent, which is the sequel to Divergent. I picked up the series over the summer, and I'm still hooked! The first one was really good!

Are those books similar to The Hunger Games?
I've already finished "Deadlocked". I always read the new Sookie Stackhouse books pretty fast when I get my hands on them, but I think this was a record, lol. Now I have to wait a freakin year for the next one, grrrhhh.

Ohhh, I have Divergent. So its really good then? I can't decide if I want to read that next or go with "Summer of Night" by Dan Simmons.

He is a writer that I've just discovered, he's been around forever but I had never heard of him until recently. I really liked "Carrion Comfort" which was the first book of his I read. In a nutshell it was about "mind vampires". These creepy old people with the "Ability" to take over people's minds and bodies, making them do horrible things for their own amusement and feeding off their emotions. If that sounds interesting to anybody I totally recommend it 🙂

V For Vendetta graphic novel. Just... I'll definitely have to reread it once I'm done. I'll probably read Watchmen after that.

For anyone who has read it... I'm at the bit where V's talking about showing Evey the bars of the prison, and she broke out of it etc. Is he referring specifically to the dystopian scenario? As in, the illusion of happiness despite being constricted, despite the fact that their happiness may be taken away at any moment, versus fighting to get out of the socially constructed prison. I searched a little online that it has something to do with the idea of "True Will", which is kind of like destiny? Anyway, can someone clarify that for me? (But no spoilers, please.)

A Dance with Dragons, part 5 of the ASOIAF series.

Once I've finished reading that one, I'll go over to Metro 2034, some Lovecraft and Poe stories or perhaps start reading Buffy Season 8 & 9.

i finished all my books and i don't know what to read!!!🙁
Semeone have an idea ?

Dracula, Dacula the Immortal, the Love at Stake serie (by Kerrelyn Sparks) are all very good vampire books imo.

I just started reading (finally) Hunger Games: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I have been waiting forever for the local library to get it 🙂

The Fault In Our Stars I was really not looking forward to reading that book as a choice book for school, but it has become one of, if not my favorite.

Also I really like the Delirium trilogy....of course there are only two out yet. Delirium, and Pandemonium.....Requiem comes out next year.
