Now I'm catching up on Stranger Things S4 -basically binging, because that is what happens with this show 😀- before the last two episodes come out on the 1st.
It's going so good! It's really as good as S1. Loving it. <3

Watched Seed of Chucky yesterday and it's hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing watching it.

Watch first epsiode which was very solid. It was a set up episode in many ways. Good stuff though.

I liked the first ep...have to admit, I was worried that the payoff would flounder in the end, but I'm confident I'll like the very last ep of ST (at this time), but I'm not up to watching 2 hours+ (the length of the last ep) right now (and felt okay to stop where I did). I'll probably comment on the ST thread in a couple of days or so.

James Bond OO7 IN
Live and Let DIE
What's neat about this movie is I was familiar with the song of the same name, as it's on the Guns 'N 'Roses Use Your Illusion double album. What I never knew is that G'n'R were playing a cover of a Paul and Linda McCartney song written for an early 70s James Bond movie of the same name! How incredible is that!
Anyway, the movie itself is pretty good, but also pretty standard imo for a Bond film. Suave gentleman, action hero, lots of pretty women getting it on, lots of explosions and expensive set pieces; and of course, really dumb villains 😉 My impression of Roger Moore in the role is that his performance is adequate, but not quite as indelible as the iconic Sean Connery iteration. Moore feels almost like an average, vanilla Bond.
Before Live and Let Die, I also recently saw
The Living Daylights
which is the first of Timothy Dalton's two movies as Bond in the late 80s. I was actually very impressed by this movie, both by the story and Dalton's performance. It struck me as unusually good for a Bond movie, heck it was an awesome movie just as a movie in general. Going back to Moore afterwards, it only confirms how exceptional Dalton's movie was. Bond always gets the girl, and we know that, but often it just happens for sake of happening and the girls are simply along for the ride. In this movie, I actually felt a genuine, strong emotional connection between Bond and his 1 love interest. There's Cold War intrigue, and lots of incredible locations and set pieces jam packed into the film. The story was quite engaging. There's also however a part where the Al Qaeda "freedom fighters" of the desert are portrayed as the good guys, as they help Bond attack the Soviet outpost. Yep, they're the heroes alright, and I'm sure they'll always remain grateful allies. Boy that aged well.

Yes, it's another full show rewatch, I seem to be doing them once a year (maybe this time I'll actually finish it, got to S15E2 last time). Anyway, y'know how you always find new things to discover when you rewatch shows?
So, the team is going through a list of the hostages in this episode (the one where Elle is one of them, right?) and then they get to Josh Patel (at around the 20:38 mark) and under favorite books, I kid you not, it says Fear and Loathing in Sunnydale...
Not only that, but I looked it up... it's a fanfic. More specifically, a Spuffy fanfic that was written and posted 4 years before this episode aired. How wild is that? 😀

Yesterday/today (2 AM) I bingewatched Stranger Things S3. I start S4 now (2 episodes at least) 🙂 . I watched a little of the beginning & saw the Kate Bush's song scene, it does look darker.

Wimbledon tennis 🎾 tournaments : just the match I do care. For today/ tomorrow I’m going to watch Sinner/Djokovic. Everyone is rooting for Djokovic to win his 7th Wimbledon but I do have faith that Sinner will create the surprise tomorrow.
