She doesn't look like a child. They chose not to use CGI. But I'm glad Isabelle Fuhrman came back. She's a great actress.Still very excited and can't wait.

Been watching some of the later eps of the X-Files since I can see them with a tolerable amount of ads. Mostly I've seen the eps people have been telling me to see for a long time. I was glad to see some, but even those didn't have the charm of the early seasons for me (back in my late teens I watched through the first 4 seasons, I forget when I lost interest in it, if it was in 4 or 5, but I've seen very little after 4 until now). And others I didn't care for, though it was okay for passing a night with insomnia. But I did like some performances, even when the story didn't grab me.

I'm surprised I hadn't heard of the character Diana Fowley kissing Mulder and Mulder even believing Fowley over Scully. Seems fan outrage caused her to be axed from the show almost as fast as Kate Lockley in Angel. I found her an interesting enigma and not sure what to think about her (didn't blame Scully for hating her, though), but it looks like her story wasn't to be told. (I had heard of her and seen a few clips, just not the part I shared here.) The twists and turns I saw MIGHT have tempted me to watch more had she remained.

Field Trip was interesting...it reminded me of BTVS: Normal Again, but I thought it was better done. The ending was rushed, but perhaps they needed that for the ambiguity...yet part of me wanted to see Mulder and Scully eating some of the mushroom (after it had been properly cooked) that tried eating them. 😀
