What are you watching #2

It's a documentary about the Japanese fisheries and how they capture dolphins to sell to trainers, and any left over are slaughtered and cut up and they sell their meat to markets impersonating whale meat.

here is the trailer:

Wow. Is it available on Netflix? And even the idea of whale meat is bad enough, there's a ban on whaling but the Japanese try to get past that by capturing a legal amount for "scientific research". Which is BS, they're capturing & slaughtering whales for the food market. Can you tell that I'm a big Whale Wars fan?

You and I both! Yes it is available on Netflix Instant Que. You have to watch it. This is the main reason i'm studying to become a marine biologist. Perhaps once you're done watching it, we can talk about it, since everyone i've told so far thinks i'm killing the happy buzz lol I've already written a letter to the IWC Japanese chairman and donated a little too much money over the years to the organization.

Shaun of the Dead is awesome! :D I love that movie.
Just watched Easy A. I had heard it was a really good and funny movie and I’m glad that I watched it for myself. I wish I had had this movie when I was still in high school. Not that I went through anything like Olive did, but it would have been nice to have a movie like this that I could think back on during school. When things are just plain awkward, I can just remember that I will get through it because I am wonderful. 😉

Even now, it serves as a good reminder. Also, I want to be like the parents in this movie to my kids.

Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles season two I am so sad it only has two seasons because I love it so much and flying through it.

This weekend I've decided to check out both Mr Sunshine and Sherlock. Not as much as it seems. No more than 2 hours 15 minutes of Mr Sunshine and 3 1,5 hour long movies of Sherlock if I didn't miss anything. Not really impossible for 3 days. 😉

But first, the new The big bang theory.

Gossip girl I had seen it when it first aired but stopped watching and didn't keep up so started over. It is okay so far. Good filler until my TSCC DVD's are back and running.

Doing a re-watch of The L Word now, haven't seen it in a while cos I think Ilene Chaiken (pretentious bitch) totally screwed up the show in the last season - it was so bad!.. but the earlier seasons are amazing.

I agree that Season 6 was so awful! Jenny was horrendous but only because they were making it so everyone didn't like her (for obvious reasons I'm not going to say for fearing of spoiling?).

On DVD I'm rewatching the whole series of Angel for the first time.. I'm up to 3x03. Right this second I'm watching a Friends repeat on my DVR.

I've just got The Big Bang Theory (watched my first 2 eps last night OMG too funny) and Cougar Town (not as funny as I was hoping). SO I am watching these at the moment. Tonight 'll probably watch Sherlock Holmes the movie.

Big Bang Theory!
I'm watching The Vampire Diaries, although its on hiatus now, so I sometimes shove on season 1 if I want to watch some. I've always been mosying through Supernatural season one. I love the Winchesters and their relationship but it's getting a little annoying always working out what's going to happen...still its only on an episode by episode basis, as opposed to the overreaching arch so I can deal.

I swear I'm always some point through an OTH rewatch and I still need to watch S5 of Alias but it hurts me nearly as much as S3...nearly. Oh and on that note, I second Wash's love for the Alias love! 😀

I am going to start Alias in like two weeks hopefully.

Season one of OTH is being re-run in Canada right now and I got all nostalgic coming across vintage jackass Nathan. James Lafferty was so young back then, it's insane.
Finished Dollhouse season 1 and I've started on season 2. Still freaking love this show! 😀 Finally finished Fringe season 1- the season finale was fantastic!! And Big Love is over, waaaahhhh!! Finally got to watch the finale the other night. Oh- and I loved the most recent Bones episode.

I have nothing to watch anymore! So I'm watching 'Gilmore Girls' again, on my mom's DVDs.

New shows on TV wise I am watching Breakout Kings that is my newest one and I love it so far. Hilarious plain and simple.
On my DVDS Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles Season two.

Just finished Boardwalk Empire, great first season, hopefully the next is just as good. Might start with the Sopranos now.
Can't wait for Game of Thrones next month, anyone else as pumped for that show as I am?

Glad to hear I want to see both of those shows so bad unfortunately the sopranos is like 200 dollars lol.

I don't know a lot about Game of Thrones, but yes I'm excited to see it.
I've been watching and trying to catch up with 30 Rock for the first time recently, and I'm loving it. It can be a little samey, and a bit too sketch show at times, but it's amazing how much you can get attached to certain characters in a 30 minute comedy show.
