The Whale A The characters drove me crazy but they were interesting and it was well written. For a two hour drama, it kept a good pace.

GBC this is hilarious. Pretty much exactly the local Baptist church except with rich famers instead of car dealerships lmao!

It'll be a much shorter show next time when I skip all the sex, rape and torture scenes.
 
I just finished Seasons 10 & 11 of American Horror Story. 11 (NYC) is pretty good (probably the gayest season ever) but definitely not my favorite; I do appreciate its spin on AIDS in 80s NYC though (the leather daddy being a metaphor for killer lust and/or AIDS itself). Season 10 (Double Feature) is cool. I've read some bad reviews but I like how this season is split into two stories (5 episodes each) instead of one drawn out like normal. It fully utilizes its anthology format and makes it even more stylized, fun, interesting & fast-paced. The first half, Red Tide started out seeming very formulaic (but classic horror?) and almost generic (more vampires) but surprised me by the end w/its spin on the characters/villains. Death Valley was something next level and of course isn't going to be everyones cup of tea but for anyone well versed in extraterrestrials, government mind control and "conspiracy theories", this half of Double Feature is great. My ranking is at the very top Apocalypse, Coven & 1984. Cult, Asylum & Murder House are all A. Double Feature & Hotel are B. NYC & Freakshow are C. And Roanoke is a D. Now I'm about to start The Last of Us.

Watched the first 3 eps and already really enjoying it. Seems like the hype may be justified

Not sure if the hype is justified but it's really good. Not the best show ever as some have called it but really good show.
House of the Devil

I honestly keep forgetting this movie was made in 2009. It looks straight out of the 70s.
