Not sure if I should post this here, especially since some posts are just simply "I watch..." and that's it. A comment or two wouldn't hurt.


Alphas

A new show, the 7th episode will be airing soon.

The average Joe of X-men or Heroes light if you so wish. Story wise it definitely seems like a X-men rip off. Just in a smaller scale so far. If you don't know the story, some people are having some extraordinary talent and are called Alphas. A small group lead but a none alpha try both to get used to their powers and controlling them as well as tracking down other Alphas that causes trouble trying to help them. They're all about trying to fit into the world. Others (Surprise, surprise!) are "evil" not exactly sharing those views trying to kill our dear goodies and causing some other trouble.

Not your superhero stuff though which is nice. They make fun about flying and laserbeams and no kryptonite or such., Everyone looks "normal" too. So far should that is. Got no clue what's happen later on.

I enjoy it but so far definnitely not I show I tell people they need to watch. Worth giving a chance though. So far the big highlight for me is Gary. Played by Ryan Cartwright who you might recognize from Bones on which he played Vincent Nigel-Murray.

So far I like season 1 better, but season 1 also needed five episodes or so to get really interesting.

Mostly people seem to say that season 2 is so much better but I understood why the beginning of season 2 didn't help getting new viewers. I do like Belonging (possibly because I really like Sierra) and The public eye. But it's at the end of the season when they knew they got cancelled and tried to wrap everything up that things speed up. A little too fast but, at least to me, more interesting.

Waiting for NCIS 8 to be released on DVD and shipped from Amazon so I can do a speed watch before the season premier on Sept 20th.

I've been slowly watching Midsomer Murders on Netflix. They have 10 seasons available there(14 or 15 in total I think) and I'm midway through season 8. The shows are usually an hour and half long, so longer than most of the shows I'm used to watching. These are British murder mysteries. Very different from NCIS and other shows I watch. LOL. Before anyone asks if I've heard about the controversy, yes I have.

Im currently rewatching Angel Im currently on season 3 waiting in the wings. I couldnt remember a lot of the episode from this season onwards hence the watching 🙂

I'm currently on Season 7 of Buffy, just 3 discs left. And I'm also starting a rewatch of Friends. I'm still on Season 1.

I'm on Season 4 of Buffy and Season 1 of Angel in my rewatch.

Also been watching The Dresden Files. Which I like, but I like the books and audiobooks more. Though I will say, I think the guy that got to play Harry listened to James' readings and took up some of his annunciation and pacing. Otherwise they are just freakishly similar in how they decided to portray this character.

And movies may not count but I'm also watching all the Harry Potter movies as I finish each book. And I read fast so I might have the series done sometime next week.

I am watching Prison Break season 2. Watching the show for the first time really loving it. I kind of wish I would have sat down and watched it all the way sooner. Anyways flying through it I actually finished almost 2 seasons in like 3-4 days. I went to start it before but for some reason just ditched it for another show. I like this one better 😛

I also watched a little bit of The-L-Word but had to choose Prison Break. From what I saw it seemed like it could be a good show.

I'm rewatching Angel too (by itself), I'm on season 2, which I love- love the Darla arc, although I think they draw it out too long. I like her character more & more during my rewatches. As far as Whedon works, I'd like to do a Dollhouse rewatch afterward, since I've only seen it once.

I've finished Castle season 1 and I'm waiting for my season 2 discs from netflix to come.

Watching Torchwood Miracle Day of course. 😀 And I'll watch Doctor Who when it comes back.

I'm trying to watch season 2 of True Blood, having a very hard time finishing it. I really like the books, but I find the show a bit tedious and honestly, kinda boring. Isn't that a weird thing to say?

Re-watching Bones season 6 whenever I can catch a repeat. Finished watching season 1 of Glee. I started Battlestar Galactica, but only watched the 1st episode of the miniseries; I need to watch the rest, it was great!

Waiting with anticipation for Netflix to get Fringe season 3 so I can hurry and watch before season 4 begins.

I'm watching Necessary Roughness- love Callie Thorne + Marc Blucas. 🙂

Alphas- I meant to watch that and forgot! I doubt that the 1st episodes are on OnDemand, they take them off after awhile. I'll have to try to find them online, but y'all know how much I hate watching on my computer. Same thing with Falling Skies, completely missed that. I may just wait until their seasons are over and watch them on Netflix. 🙁

I'm doing a rewatch of 8 Simple Rules.

This show is as close to a guilty pleasure I'll ever get. Kaley Cuoco is great, she is also the only reason I watch The Big Bang Theory. But my favorite in this show is still the other daughter played by Amy Davidson.

The show drops a bit in quality after the passing of John Ritter though...

I'm watching Will & Grace, I'm on season 6. I usually only watch s4-8 because I don't like the earlier seasons as much.
I'd say my favorite characters are Grace and Jack. Karen and Rosario are awesome when they're in a scene together.. and Leo is kinda hot.
I don't really like Will though, he has some good moments but they're few.
