The White Lotus Season 3

After a bit of an underwhelming S2 it’s right back to its best. I really could watch Parker Posey read the phone book. Also I’m starting to feel sorry for the Walter Goggins character and kinda ship him and Chelsea (she’s adorable). Lots of intrigue, style and some sizzling lines. Plus the links to S1 and 2 are interesting.
 
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 5 .
Felt like watching some Dawnie after this crappy week . So I jumped right in at 5 .

First thing I noticed was the massive spoiler on the DVD menu . with MT looking out 😀 .

BTVS excelled in what can only be described as WTF episodes . Superstar , Once More With Feeling etc . They go in hard and aren't too explainy . Dawn is arguably their biggest headtrip . They wait 3 full episodes before they flesh out her backstory .

I'm lucky . Apart from the musical I got to experience these rugpulling episodes for the first time unspoiled .

I'm probably going to skip 'The Body' this time around . Feels a bit maudlin in the circumstances . Will likely watch through to 7 though , when Dawn is at her best in my opinion 🙂 .
 
Borderlands.

Yes, this is about what you would expect and Kevin Hart is as convincing as an action hero as he was as a criminal mastermind.*

Lol it’s a good cast mostly but yeah I’m guessing not the best film
Toxic Town. Dr Who is an angry mumma fighting the company that made her kid deformed.
 
MAFS I love Lauren hahaha shes got the right idea. The rest are just too young to understand her point of view.
 
The Wizards Of Waverly Place S1
Dragon Ball Daima. Good to see the main characters back in normal form. Only one episode left (friday7th)
 
Homestead Rescue. This is a show that could only be done there. Even getting shire approval here to remove a tree or build a carport takes weeks to months, let alone this kind total makeover in a single episode. So fun to watch, wish I could do it!
 
The Watchers with Dakota Fanning. Not the same as the other show with a similar name. This one is about fairies. Not sure where its going to go, but pretty spooky so far!

Okay, this is a Christmas film, but in December I would have had to pay for it and now I don't.
 
Zero Day - pretty good political thriller, made better by the fact that it's a limited series.
The Prisoner - still holds up, except for the '60s theme music!
