I really liked how it slowly built up tension, following the characters in real time. It was also interesting how a lot of it was about issues or people around the case, rather than the case itself. The young actor who played the suspect was incredible.

It's the most-watched Netflix show in several countries, apparently, and is causing a discussion about teens and social media in Britain.

Terrible was all I could come up with - I couldn't think of another word for the fact that it's a story about a murder, but I didn't think it was a terrible show at all. And so timely before the influence on these kids gets even more dangerous.

I feel like its been more haunting with more time to reflect on it. I might rewatch ep3 because it was so impactful. It had a different feel to e2 where you were a fly on the wall. Ep3 made me feel like I was the psychologist. Some amazing film/storytelling technique there.

Alone US s10. I always gain so many insights from this show! I love it. I so so so appreciate being fat now.

Five minutes into episode one and I started to get the distinct impression that Tia Carrere's appearance was a major feature of the show... 😀
 
Watched seasons 1 and 2 of The White Lotus.
I really don't know what to think of this series, or if I'll even bother to watch the 3rd season.

I've never felt like this before watching any other series. It's not bad, it's just weird. All the characters are awful. 😆

Yeah, I definitely get what you're saying! I get the themes and topics of disccusion they're highlighting, and I wanted to give the series a fair shot before saying it wasn't for me.

Best you stopped at season 1. But for those who enjoy the series, I'm glad! I will say this, they gathered a great cast of actors.
 
But the characters are supposed to be pretentious! That's a bit like complaining the characters are pretentious in Succession. Its not like the writers don't know this and arn't playing into it 😀

It's new and only 1 episode a week is dropped on a Sunday... I watched it today and if you like Tom Hardy and London gangs type dramas then you like this. I think it has big potential. Reminds me of The Gentlemen but grittier!
