Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

One of the better Phase Four films I think. Admittedly, that is not a high bar.

And yet another film I have watched recently with Charlize Theron in it. It is almost as if I am watching things just because she is in them.*

*Admittedly this is true but in this case it was an accident. 😀
Charlize is fantastic in Atomic Blonde. In that extended fight sequence she actually cracked a rib and sprained an ankle and kept on filming. Did months of legitimate martial arts and stunt performance training alongside Keanu Reeves.

Yes; Atomic Blonde is great. I imagine she used some of that training in The Old Guard as well, and probably other films too.

♥ Atomic Blonde!
Stuart Lee's interview on Channel 4. Deeply ironic that he actually had the sentiment 'they'd lock you up just for telling jokes over there.'

No they wouldn't, you absolute div.

He was probably joking to be fair.
@Mr Trick : nope, he was deadly serious. He's said he's actually turned down comedy gigs because of what he thinks is going on over there.
He should probably look closer to home, really.

Well I for one can’t blame him and a lot of people would feel the same
Miss Austen. I found it hard to keep straight the timeline and characters at times, and I'm a Jane Austen fanatic, so I wonder how it was for those who know less about her life.

@NotASlayer thanks for telling me that! I saw this DVD set at Walmart and it looked kind of good, so I decided to give it a go, but I didn't know anything about UFO. I will watch that after, now.

Season 2 of Space 1999 is rather more action-y than S1 - executive meddling I think - and UFO, which only lasted one season is probably similar in tone to S1. It's rather impressive how the practical space effects still look pretty decent.
Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic
I watched it out of curiosity, nothing special, but despite being an animated film the level of gore is pretty high. I also think the depiction of Lucifer is actually better than in many real movies and TV shows.

You - the final season
Also catching up on the final season of 9-1-1: Lone Star

November - one needs the lightness/banter/seeing Rob Lowe in uniform to counteract the creepiness of You and Joe Goldberg! 🤣

these fit so well together
The Wheel of Time, season 1

I hadn't considering watching this, having read the books until I finally gave up after an entire book failed to advance the main plot at all (what happened in the book could be summed up one one sentence), but by the sounds of it the series may be better.

lol I made it through all the books but it sure was ridiculous slow.
The Electric State, Netflix movie with millie bobby brown doing the 90's fashion thing, why do her lips look like that?
Anyway, not too bad as a kids movie - but rated M. I hate it when they do that. If they took out the two swear words it would be G rated, well at least PG rated for robot violence. Rating it M cuts out the target audience.
I like the good robots, they are cute! Maccas should put them in happy meals.

@Mr Trick it could be just the aussies who have rated it M. It shouldn't be M rated. PG at most!

Not sure I’ve heard of the M rating interesting
