This is similar to the "what are you reading" types of threads...

So, what TV shows are everyone watching currently and what do you think? I am watching quite a few shows right now, actually. On air, I only keep up with Gossip Girl, but on DVD I"m watching True Blood, Supernatural, and Smallville.

As for Gossip Girl - what can I say? I love it, it's my guilty pleasure. Blair and Chuck are a fascinating 'ship, and I love the show's fresh style. We all have guilty pleasure, lol. It's wildly entertaining. My favorite characters are Dan, Blair, Vanessa, and Chuck.

True Blood is just an awesome show. I love the whole concept. The realistic style of it is a interesting spin on the general vampire trend, what with the public knowing about vampires and all. All the characters have a really interesting arc right now. My favorites are Eric, Sookie, and Sam.

Smallville, despite my doubts, has grown on me. I like Lex a lot. He's probably the only reason I'm still watching the show. I've always found characters the most interesting when they're conflicted between good and evil like he is.

SPN - what can I say? This is by far the best show I've come by in a while. It never gets dull. Sam and Dean have incredible on-screen chemistry together. The show is well-written and creative. I love how the show tells all these different stories about myths, and legends, even fairy tales...Dean reminds me a lot of Buffy, actually. They have much in common.

What about you guys? What shows are you enjoying right now?
 
He. And here I thought what we are watching right now. Which for me would be the new HIMYM (How I met your mother in case you didn't know) episode. If I'm gonna talk about all the shows I watch I'll have to come back when I have more time.
 
One Tree Hill. It's on Hiatus right now, but it'll be back in April.

I honestly don't watch much TV. My TV is on all the time, but there's only a few select shows I'm REALLY invested in. The rest of the time, it's just cartoons or stuff on the E! Channel. lol I think my TV is on E! like 88% of the time 😀

I'm also rewatching Angel 😛
 
I love True Blood (though the last couple episodes of season 2 were meh) and I've read all the novels it's based on. I'm also rewatching Charmed on DVD, though I really only like the first 4 seasons or so, it just gets kind of weird after that. Oh, and of course I'm watching rewatching Buffy, on Season 4 at the moment.
 
I'm watching Criminal minds, though this season isn't as awesome as the rest.

I am also watching True Blood, eventhough I absolutely HATED season 1. Season 2 is shaping up quite nicely though. I really like Hoyt and Jessica's characters. I still mostly wish that Anna Paquin's version of Sookie would be turned into kibbles n bits and I'm a bit sad at Eric's loss of hair. I liked his long hair :S
Oh and I love Pam, she's just like book-Pam, delightful.

other than that I occasionally tune in to some re-runs when I have the time - they're showing Charmed,Big Bang theory and How I met your mother - and every now and then I'll sit down for an eppy.

LOST, HIMYM, Chuck and Caprica are all I'm watching as they air. And Glee when it returns! I used to watch Gossip Girl but I thought that stuff with Hilary Duff was kind of lame and I lost interest. I should probably start watching it again to see if it got better. I'll be watching FlashForward aswell, but I haven't watched the latest episode yet because the show isn't that great. If it doesn't improve soon I'm not even gonna bother.

I'm watching Band of Brothers, Bones Season 2 and a rewatch of Firefly right now. I finished The Inbetweeners season 2, Arrested Development and Gilmore Girls season 5 yesterday. I've got some other stuff still to watch, but next I'm gonna start Wonderfalls.

Right now, I'm watching

- One Born Every Minute (UK thing). Its a documentary about a labour ward, and makes me cry (with happiness!) all the time. And makes me slightly less apprehensive but slightly more scared about the whole giving birth thing, if I ever do have children.

- Chuck. I absolutely love it. There's nothing not to love, really.

- Glee. One of the best new shows around, funny and just so happy and it always cheers me up.

- Hollyoaks. Because I'm a 20 year old girl, and need a bit of trash in my life 🙂
 
I really hate True Blood. I watch it anyway, because I love the books so much, and because I have a celebrity crush on Alexander Skarsgard. When you know the characters from the books, it makes the TV versions seem annoying and one-dimensional. But I watch it anyway.

I watch Lost and Vampire Diaries in real time, nothing else. I hate commercials, so I watch them online. I really prefer to wait til a show has a bunch of seasons (or is off the air) then watch them all in a row.

I'm watching Smallville off of Netflix. I'm on season 4 right now. I love it 🙂

I hate watching TV on air, too.
I watch Glee both US-pace and E4-pace, I love it.

Also watching True Blood on FX at the moment, even though I've already seen season two. Looking forward to season three in the summer.

I'm working my way through Supernatural but I don't feel compelled to watch episode after episode like some other tv shows. I've finished season two and have yet to start season three.

I'll be watching Doctor Who when it returns in a couple of weeks. I've heard good things about the new Doctor, and whilst I'll miss DT, I'm definitely excited about the new series.

And that's about it, I think. I like things like Alan Carr's chatty man and the panel quiz shows with comedians. And I tend to watch a lot of the crap that channel four show in the evenings, as it's a choice between that and the soaps on ITV and BBC, ever since my freeview box stopped working.

And I can't believe I'm admitting this but I watch Live From Studio Five which has to be the absolute worst show of its kind but it's guilty pleasure viewing. :blushy:
 
I don't watch many shows that are currently on air, only Glee and Flashforward. Oh and Eastenders! 😛

I watch GIlmore Girls reruns on e4 in the mornings and I've become a little bit too entertained by Wife Swap USA! Ha!

I watch One Tree Hill on DVD pretty much all the time, although not so much in the last few weeks due to stupid uni work!

I do intend to catch up with shows I've stopped watching for some reason or another, like Dexter and Lost. I was thinking of going back to Heroes but I've not heard great reviews so maybe not.

I tried Gossip Girl but I couldn't really get into it. I watched the first few episodes but just felt it was a bit too young for me. From what I can gather though, this doesn't seem to be the case so maybe I could give that a go again soon too...

Gossip Girl is pretty petty; but it's deliciously entertaining and scandalous! It's a guilty pleasure.

I'm watching HIMYM, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Samatha Who and Cougar Town. I'm planning to start watching How to make it in America when spring breaks begin.
