Doesn't have to be just the Buffyverse (although they can obviously be in it), but leave out movies.

Mine are, and let me know what you think of them,:

1) Buffy and Angel: To me, Buffy and Angel are the ultimate love story. I've never seen a romance that has made me feel more than them. I just lived and died through them watching both shows. Just love in it's purest, most perfect form, that even if they aren't together, they'll still always be with one another.

2) Jack and Kate (LOST): Watching them hold each other up through everything was special. If Bangel is my perfect version of love, I don't think I've ever identified with a romance more than Jack and Kate. Jack just never, ever quitting, to the point where it became a character flaw instead of a strength, was sad and special at the same time. The ending made the series for me, and is my all time favorite ending to a romance.

3) Buffy and Spike: So different than Buffy and Angel, but still incredible. Spike's overall character arc through his relationship with Buffy is one of the best I've ever seen. And like Jack and Kate, the ending couldn't have been better. It had it's own very unique feel to it that was just amazing.

4) Clark and Lana (Smallville): They had such an innocent, tender relationship. To me, Smallville ended when Clark and Lana did. Clark with Lois later on in the series never felt real simply because Clark and Lana's story though seven seasons was SO special, and epitomized two people being "The One" for each other.

5) Angel and Cordelia: There have been better pure "romances" (after all, Angel and Cordy weren't ever really together for very long), but I can't think of a better example of two friends being so close. I think they were both in love, even though it never materialized (some very questionable writing killed that). As with many things in reality, life just got in the way for them. But them driving to meet each other on the point in the S3 finale was a truly special moment. The way they grow together over the series is just amazing.

(I know, I know, stocked with Buffyverse relationships. Sue me. Both series had better characters than any show I've seen).

One honorable mention for me is Penny and Leonard from The Big Bang Theory. Much lighter than the others I picked, but they're just so great together.

I've never "shipped" anyone on TV (I think the idea is a little silly), but damn it, I thought Lois Land and Clark Kent on Smallville needed to be together. They did such a good job of establishing the characters before their relationship, they spent like 3 seasons together and never had romantic feelings. Then in season 7 (I think) Lois and Clark was born and I rooted for them every single episode

I totally agree. Lois/Clark are meant to be together :)
Buffy/Spike

Logan/Veronica (Veronica Mars)--they're just epic, okay? Spanning years and continents, lives ruined, bloodshed...epic 😀

Clark/Lois (Smallville)--ever since Lois appeared and started bantering with Clark, I've been a Clois shipper. Imo, they're just perfect for one another.

Chloe/Jimmy (Smallville)--Jimmy really went through hell, but I just love these two together.

J.D/Elliot (Scrubs)

Barney/Robin (HIMYM)

Willow/Oz

Piper/Leo (Charmed)

Phoebe/Cole (Charmed)

I can't believe I forgot Stefan/Elena! (Vampire Diaries) Them, too. 🙂

And Snow White/ Prince Charming (Once Upon a Time)

Caroline/Tyler (Vampire Diaries)

Caroline/Matt (Vampire Diaries)

My favorite TV ships are Buffy/Angel, Willow/Oz, Giles/Jenny, Chandler/Monica, Ross/Rachel, Wesley/Fred, Lynette/Tom, Felicity/Noel, Tina/Bette, Alice/Dana, Shane/Carmen, Clark/Lois, Chloe/Oliver.... I could probably come up with more, but I'll stick with those for now. 😀

There aren't many couples that I actively ship, but there are lots of pairings that I've really enjoyed watching. Off the top of my head my favorites are: Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Riley, Michael Scofield/Sara Tancredi, Ross/Rachel, Kevin/Winnie, Summer/Seth, Pacey/Joey, Booth/Brennen, Caroline/Tyler and Derek/Meredith.

I actually kinda hate the term "ship". I do say it from time to time (because it's convenient.) It just sounds so....fanboy-ish. 😛 But I have enjoyed quite a few pairings over the years:

Buffy/Spike, Buffy
Veronica/Logan, Veronica Mars
Alice/Dana, The L Word
Lucas/Peyton, One Tree Hill

In terms of actively shipping, there is only Buffy/Angel for me. But there are a couple of pairings that were hugely tied to my enjoyment of their respective shows:

Pacey/Joey (I want a Pacey Witter of my own. Please and thank you.)
Ross/Rachel
Peyton/Lucas
Naley
Mer/Der
Izzie/Denny
Mark/Lexie *SOB*
Donna/Josh

Mark/Lexie Karma!
Willow/Tara
Fred Wesley
Chris/Tobias (Oz)
Ryan/Gloria (Oz)
Shane/Carmen (The L Word)
Alice/Tasha (The L Word)
Jim/Pam (The Office)
Ken/Amy (Freaks & Geeks)
Homer/Marge (The Simpsons)
Rory/Dean (Gilmore Girls) yes, I'm one of the few who likes this pairing

Cordy & Angel
Wesley & Lilah
Mulder & Scully (the X-Files)
Tom & B'Elanna (ST: Voyager)
Simon & Alisha (Misfits)
Barney & Robin (HIMYM)
Phoebe & Cole (Charmed)

But honestly, I'm pretty much over the whole shipping thing. I used to be obsessed with these things, writing fanfiction and such, having dreams or whatnot. These days I just think more along the lines of 'oh, they work nice together', but it's nothing I really get into anymore.
These days, I ship guys I know in real life and me 😛

This is just really what I meant, couples you just enjoyed watching. To be perfectly honest, I don't really understand just what exactly the whole "shipping" thing is.

Your screen name, your sig; that's it, you're shipping. 🙂

Shipping, in a nutshell, is wanting a two particular characters to end up together. At the lower end of the scale shipping can just be that basic desire to see a couple end up together, but it can also be fan art, fic writing/reading, taking part in discussions about said couple, vidding... the list goes on. Shipping is being a fan of a couple. However, some of us place more importance on it and do it with more gusto than others 😉

1) Buffy and Angel: To me, Buffy and Angel are the ultimate love story. I've never seen a romance that has made me feel more than them. I just lived and died through them watching both shows. Just love in it's purest, most perfect form, that even if they aren't together, they'll still always be with one another.

Buffy and Angel are love in it's "purest, most perfect form'? Really? How so, if you don't mind me asking? I view their relationship very differently.

I'm sure there are fantastic ships yet to be discovered, but here is my list as of my favorites in what I've seen so far. Most of my ships aren't very "romantic" - they're messy, dysfunctional at times, and very, very rocky - but here's my list anyhow;

1. Spike and Buffy (BtVS) are my all-time favorite TV ship. Always have been, always will be for a laundry list of reasons, but I'll settle with what Angearia once said

Their love is great and wild and passionate. It burns and consumes. Their love is full of trust fit for old marrieds. This is my love story. It's a tale of love that lifts up the characters, that has the characters seeing the truth in each other, that offers redemption and grace.

2. Christian and Kimber (Nip/Tuck). Wow, what an explosive and fascinating ship. They tear each other down, take each other for granted, but in the end they both know that neither could be with anyone else. They truly understand each other, because they are both selfish and damaged and dark.

3. Nate and Brenda (Six Feet Under) It would take me forever to explain the scope of these two and their relationship and all that they had gone through together. It will suffice to say that Six Feet Under is one of the best shows I have ever seen, and Nate and Brenda were one of the most engaging ships I have ever watched.

4. Angel and Spike (BtVS and AtS) How could I leave these two out? Despite how much these two claim to despise each other, it is clear as crystal how much they love each other. There is so much history here that we're never know. These two lived a lifetime together before we were even introduced to them. Imagine everything they went through together.

5. Dean and Castiel (SPN) Now, I know these two aren't a real ship...but I call them a bro-ship, which are just as important. God, does Dean love Cas with a fierce love. That's all I have to say. These two sparkle together on-screen. And their story is so, so sad in the end...what Castiel is willing to do for Dean? IM CRYING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT. UGH.

I don't have ships really, and they tend to change. A lot of the time when I have a favorite show I don't really have a favorite couple in it either, because the show isn't really that type of show, like Twin peaks or many of the star trek series. but these are my favorite couples I can think of at the moment anyway. Some of the aren't because I think they are perfect for each other (like Spuffy), it's more that I liked the interaction and the unhappy love of it. 🙂 So, here it goes. 🙂

- Spike/Buffy - Btvs
- Cordelia/Angel (Soulmates! :heart🙂 - Ats
- Sawyer/Juliet - Lost
- Stuart/Vince - Queer as folk UK
- Cassie/Sid - Skins UK season 1 - 2
- Emily/Naomi - Skins UK season 3 - 4
- Minnie/Frankie Skins UK season 5 (haven't seen season 6 - is it out yet?)
- Willow/Tara - Btvs
- Kira/Odo - Star trek deep space 9 (didn't like the characters that much as individuals, but loved them as a couple)

There have been so many over the years, and it seems that, invariably, they end in disappointment if not outright tragedy that I've decided to reject all of them and go back to the one great undeniable and unending love.
