What are your five favorite scenes? Not episodes - we've talked about favorite eps a lot. But individual scenes that you absolutely love and want to watch again and again.

The thread about how you watch Buffy and Angel made me think of this, because in my post I talked about my clips.

I have about a thousand of my favorite scenes (LOL) clipped to my computer, and I play them in an endless, random loop on my secondary computer whenever I'm doing anything on my primary computer (email, Facebook, Twitter, surf the net).

And it's hard to pick just five. But I'll go with these five for now - probably among the most watched of my clips (it might shock you to know that Giles is in all of them):

Buffy's speech to Travers and the other Council members in Checkpoint. That scene just rocks.

Giles "in a tutu" to Angel. That's the scene when I realized how much I love this show, and Giles.

Giles singing in Where the Wild Things Are. I love the look on his face when he spots the Scoobies.

The whole argument about Dawn in The Gift ("Yes, we bloody well are!"). Such drama from everyone.

The Mayor coming into the library in Graduation Day Pt 1. You could cut the tension with a knife and really well acted by all. I love the way Giles hardens his jaw when the Mayor moves closer to him; and it was so shocking when Giles suddenly plunged the sword into the Mayor.

How about you?

(ETA: if you ask me tomorrow I'll probably pick five different scenes.)

Haha. I know what you mean about picking different scenes tomorrow.

Well, today I'm thinking. . .

The end of The Gift. Get's me every time.

Spike's speech in Touched. How badly do I want to hear that from my significant other? Yeah, really bad. I mean, I know he thinks it, but it's nice to hear sometimes.

Actually, I really dig the kissage at the end of "I only have eyes for you." and the way Angelus and Buffy react to it at the end of it. I always remember that scene very clearly and it's one of my favorite eps.

Also love that scene where they are talking about the decision about Dawn in "The Gift." It is a really intense scene and I love pretty much everything that everyone says.

And lastly . . .hmm . . . Probably when Spike first sees Buffy alive again. And he's totally blown away. Good Stuff.

Love the last one. Brilliant.
Well, mostly Spuffy scenes. 5 is hard, so off top of my head:

* Buffy's "I love you" to Spike in Chosen
* "Out For a Walk. Bitch"
* The back steps spuffy in Fool For Love
* The ending of season 6, with Sarah Mc.... something's song in the background
* Angel's soul is restored and then Buffy has to kill him, and again, Sarah Mc Something's song in the background.

It's honestly impossible for me to pick five, but I can tell you my all time favourite scene. In the season 7 episode "Lessons", when the first takes the form of all the big bads from past BTVS seasons. I just couldn't stop rewinding that. Plus, Glory, heh.

I also love the bit in Chosen where Buffy recovers from being stabbed, such a wicked shot.

That scene in Lessons is one of my clips - I loved seeing all the Big Bads again.

Ah! I forgot that one! How could I forget!? It's greatness.
Out.For.A.Walk.Bitch.

What?! 5 scenes? I thought you said 5 words...

1. The Doyle video...I'll admit it-I cry every time!
2. Spike falls off the counter in Tabula Rasa. That manly shrieking noise he makes is fantastic.
3.Buffy about to blow up Principal Wood.
4.Gotta have that Spuffy moment. Touched is it? When they are in that random house talking.
5. Giles and Buffy are walking together and Buffy says something like, " Maybe when you are not having sex with my mom!" Then Giles runs into a tree. LOL

So many, yet surprisingly difficult to think of.

The one with Buffy and Wood is hilarious - just saw it the other day. And Giles walking into the tree. I read that ASH thought that up himself - wasn't scripted.

Oh those are all hilarious! I love every one of them. Specially the shrieking.
The exposition scene in 'Hush' with the overhead projector.
Absolutely hilarious and one of my all-time favorite scenes from any show.

- You had sex with Giles!! TWICE!!
No explanation needed.

The end of 'Becoming Part 2'.
Always like to burst out a 'Damn, that's good TV' when I see it.

The song 'Standing' including the 'Under your spell/Standing' mixture at the end.
Just love that song and what it says.

Okay, one more. Even though I have a hard time admitting it...
I have huge soft spot for Buffy receiving the Class Protector award in the Prom. That and Angel showing up is a really sweet moment.

Love that scene in Five By Five, one of my all time favourites :)
I love how everyone's answers (including mine) reflect who their particular favorite character is. That was inevitable, but still sweet to see. 🙂

This is really hard just picking 5, so I've chose 5 Buffy and 5 Angel

Innocence - The Angelus/Spike kiss, and Spike's reaction afterwards
Passion - When they go to Giles's house after Angelus has killed Jenny
Becoming part 2 - The whole fight bit, but mainly the "take that away and what's left" bit
Graduation Day part 1 - The Buffy/Faith fight scene
Hush - The projector scene

In the Dark - Spike's speech
Hero - Doyle's death
Five by Five - Faith in the rain
Dead End- Lindsey singing
Heartthrob- Angel's return

Dead End made me fall in love with Lindsey. And hell yes, I bought that song on iTunes. :)
SO much Bangel, so few places!

1. "Tell me you don't love me" from 'Lover's Walk' and subsequent silence that follows. I want to marry this scene.
2. "It's Buffy" from 'There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb'.
3. "I'll never forget, I'll never forget..." from 'I Will Remember You'.
4. The scene of Buffy sitting on her bed in her crummy apartment in 'Anne', clutching a can of soup and it just encapsulating how incredibly lost and broken she was at that time. Gorgeous.
5. "...I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life..." from 'Selfless'. I had been waiting 5 years for this issue to be raised and this line was just so much more than I thought we would ever get.

What about..."You're still my girl...always"!!
five scenes, that's difficult.

- Buffy gets the Class Protector Award.
- In Earshot, Xander and the lunch lady are just looking at each other, that's funny as hell.
- Amends, when Oz and Willow get back together.
- When Willow visits Tara's grave in Help.
- Enemies, Faith: what can I say? I'm the world's best actor. Angel: Second best.

That Enemies scene is one of the few that I have clipped that doesn't have Giles in it - loved it.

Xander and his Jell-O!! I love that scene
so hard!

'Close your eyes' scene in becoming
Touched..Spike..obviously
End of S6..that song i actually have tattooed and it makes me hysterical!
Graduation..all the students pul;lingoff their robes 😀
Prom 🙂

Oh an Joyce and Spike Lovers walk 😀
Oh AND willow and taras room in the body

If I hadn't already reached my own self-imposed limit of five scenes I would add the scene in Amends when Angel appears at Giles' door. "And the funny keeps on coming."

And also the entire fight scene in season 3 with Jabba the Hut or whatever his name was. "If it's to scrub those hard to reach places then I request that you kill me now."

But I've reached my self-imposed limit, so I won't. 🙂

It's really hard to pick my five favorites, but I'll try...

1. The scene in Grave where Willow breaks down and cries in Xander's arms
2. The opening scene of Season 3 => see my signature
3. The scene during the credits of The Puppet Show. Hilarious!! 😀
4. Giles's return at the end of Two to Go
5. The scene in Hush in the lecture room with the "Buffy will patrol tonight" and so on. Awesome! 🙂

There are so many, so i'm just going to name the first 5 I think of 😛

- "Walk Through the Fire" in OMWF
- Angel kicking the guy through the window in "City Of"
- Giles at the end of season 6
- Angel in the last episode of season 7
- Spike outside Buffy's house "Out for a walk...Bitch" LOL!

I remembered about a thread similar to this from back then, so I found it and here is what was my top 5(and what still is):

#5 - Buffy and the others standing up for Tara in 'Family'. Not only was it awesome and very emotional for me, but also it's like the only time we get a real good shot of the whole team together!

#4 - Buffy jumping at the end of 'The Gift'. We all know that scene. It was really sad and the reactions of everyone touched me a lot. Could have been a nice ending to the show.

#3 - Uber!Buffy fight against Adam in 'Primeval'. For me that was the best fight scene on BtVS and also loved what Buffy said to him at the end... 'You can never hope to grasp the source of our power. But yours is right here'.

#2 - Xander's speech to Willow at the end of 'Grave'. Only second to the #1 scene for me. Very powerful scene, and I always loved Xander & Willow as best friends. The Zeppo finally saved the day.

#1 - Buffy stabbing Angel to save the world, followed by her leaving Sunnydale in 'Becoming Part 2'. Ok I know some Bangel haters will disagree with me here. But even when I watched the show when I was around 13-14(and didn't like it much), that scene always hit me hard. I think Sarah Mclachlan's song help quite a bit to move you, but still... It will always stand out for me as the most emotional moment in BOTH shows, and i'll always link that song to BtVS. And take in consideration I'm not even a Bangel fan!
