What band would fit in the Bronze?

Title is self explanatory.

Other than the bands who appear on the show, which mainstream band do you think would fit in terms of their style?

In my opinion it would be Nirvana, Bowling for Soup or Reel Big Fish
 
I think I wrote this in another thread already - must have been a couple of years ago - but anyway, Foo Fighters! (especially 90s FF)

I don't remember seeing anything like these guys at The Bronze during the show! It's the right type of venue for them but maybe the wrong crowd. If we're going along those lines though then Less Than Jake. They're so good they'd even cheer up a town on a hellmouth.

Aha, I so cannot imagine the Sunnydale crowd skanking to Less Than Jake.
@GwenRaiden I can picture them playing during Season 4. The usual Bronze crowd is dead / swaying around. Then Less Than Jake come on and a very drunk Spike hears them and heads to front. Starts skanking and moshing like a legend until everyone joins in.

I can imagine Giles being a bit of a secret skanker.
OH i can see Emily Kinney singing in there she has a Michelle branch kind of style

Blink 182, Smashing Pumpkins and Oasis could each afford to buy the Bronze (or all of Sunnydale) and move it to the middle of Madagascar. They might play small venues, but not a dive in a vampire town.
 
Weezer would work. For a slightly less mainstream act someone like Miss Kitten would bring a different edge, but also her style would work quite well for the tone of the show too. Cat Power too I think.

Maybe... Shivaree, Guster, Brazilian Girls... If he wasn't super famous I'd say Chris Isaak. It's hard to say, the Bronze gets such an eclectic mix. I'm not sure I ever remember a rockabilly band being at the Bronze, so that might have been a cool addition. Tiger Army or something.
 
I thought The Pixies would suit being at The Bronze, if they were a smaller band. Saying that, they had The Breeders on in season 7.
 
Paramore would rock the joint.... 😀 No Doubt would be awesome too. Just a Girl is a great girl power style anthem, Buffy would have loved it.

Early Foos, midling Foos, late Foos. Any Foos.
