Leisurely I'm reading "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. I think it's a really great book and one of the classics. Academically I'm reading "Call of the Wild" by Jack Lodon, for Adv Comp. I've already read it before so really I just have to brush up with spark notes

I'm currently reading What to Expect During the First Year. It talks about what to expect of infants from birth to 1 year old. It is proving to be very helpful since I am a first time mommy.

I heard "The Starter Wife", is being turned into a TV series starring Debra Messing this summer. Anyways, it's good to see people still read. 🙂

I'm reading several books for my thesis right now:

Pink samurai: an erotic exploration of Japanese society by Nicolas Bornhoff and Love in modern Japan, its estrangement from self sex and society by Sonia Ryang (which I hope to finish today so I can get started on The anatomy of self: the individual versus society by Takeo Doi. Interesting huh?

and for me (although I don't have the time to read a whole lot just for me right now) I'm in the middle of the first book of the Rose of the Prophet series by Weis & Hickman: The Will of the Wanderer

I'm reading Thud by Terry Prachett and the Clockwise men by Justin Richards, it is a Ninth Dr book, and i must get a move on and finish, because i'm also reading Tom Bakers autobiography, which is laugh out loud funny

I'm re-reading Mythology by Edith Hamilton.

I loved Mythology. We read it early this semester in my British Lit. class. It read surprisingly well for just a bunch of stories. I couldn't really put it down.

I just recently finished Wuthering Heights. Didn't really enjoy it too much, but it wasn't horrible.

I think I'm going to start reading Les Miserables by Victor Hugo soon, though. It's huge, but I'll have all summer to myself.

My sister is pregnant (with her first child) and she bought ALL these baby books, including all those "What to expect" books. Are they any good? She hasnt read any yet since she just got them.

As for me, Im re reading the Harry potter books in anticipation of the last Harry potter book to be released in July.

I'm reading I Know What You Did Last Summer by Lois Duncan and Dracula by Bram Stroker. I love thriller books, but I can't really say anything about Dracula yet. Just started it... 🙂

I'm trying to decide whether or not to start reading A Song of Ice and Fire, knowing full well that if I become obsessed with it (likely), I'd have to devote the rest of the year to finish all the other books, and that I'd be spoiling me a potentially fantastic future HBO series (I'm a sucka for HBO stuff).
I still have to finish Mort by Terry Pratchett and I want to read some Burroughs first anyhow.
