What Books Are You Currently Reading?

I'm reading Buffy and Philosophy: Fear and Trembling in Sunnydale. Why? Because I'm a dork. And smart Buffy books are fun.

I love the buffy smarty pants books too. i got a heap out from the uni library over the holidays for the fun of it...quite sad really.
As for me, Im re reading the Harry potter books in anticipation of the last Harry potter book to be released in July.
Hehe I usually do that before every book, unfortunately my books (except for the latest one, which I just re-read) are all at my parents'..

Hm, I'm reading "Drömfakulteten" by Sara Stridsberg. It is a novel about Valerie Solanas. It's fiction, but very very inspired by Valerie Solanas. This really makes me want to read SCUM manifest, haven't ever read it yet..

Mine are all back in Sydney too, so I just downloaded the books to re-read them
I'm trying to decide whether or not to start reading A Song of Ice and Fire, knowing full well that if I become obsessed with it (likely), I'd have to devote the rest of the year to finish all the other books, and that I'd be spoiling me a potentially fantastic future HBO series (I'm a sucka for HBO stuff).

You really have to read A Song of Ice and Fire! And be prepared, you will become obsessed...been there, done that...Martin has such a stable of juicy characters, it is just beyond anything I've read in a while. Enjoy!

Ack! I've been wanting to read this but haven't for the same reason as Lorne's. You KNOW I'll get obssessed about these things!
I just went on a trip and because I knew there'd be a ton of driving I took several books. I ended up finishing them ALL:

1. Midnighters #3 by Scott Westerfield (Pretty intelligent book series)
2. Black Creek Crossing by John Saul
3. Age of Consent by Howard Mittelmark (Not that great, basically horror porn)

And now I'm reading that Russian book called "Night Watch". (Translated, of course.

I'm reading 'P.S. I Love You by Cecilia Ahern.
Its not that great, just standard chick lit about drunken Irish birds. I'm only reading it because JM is apparently going to be in the film version. Hopefully the film will be better

Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets.
[Two weeks ago I read "Order of the Phoenix" in two days, and then went on to read "Half-Blood Prince". I went back to "the Sorcerers Stone" Sunday, finished it last night, and am currently reading the second book. haha. I plan on reading the third then fourth, and wait 2 months for the seventh to come out..]
