What colour are your eyes?

My eyes were looking very grey today, and it weirded me out. Usually they are green with hazel flecks. Why would eyes change colour like that? What colour are your eyes? Do they change?
 
Blue for me too, a darker shade. I don't think they change colour but I do not gaze into my own eyes that often... 🙂
 
Blue but the shade seems to vary with the lighting conditions. Apparently under a spotlight with a purple filter they really stand out.
 
I used to have brown eyes and never looked at them again until one day, I was shocked to see my eyes had turned grey. Only a tiny ring around the pupil retains any brown. I prefer the new colour but it is an additional sign of aging.
 
Mine are blue with some grey. I think eyes can look different colors in different lights, probably because they're translucent.

It's interesting that so far, blue is ahead in the poll when brown is by far the dominant color in the world. I have read that there used to be a lot more blue-eyed people, but it's declining because of the dominance of the brown-eye gene.
