what colour is *YOUR* hair?

If you dye your hair blonde, go to a professional. Trust me when I say it never works out when you do it at home!! 🙂

Was it you who I saw in town today?

Anyway thinking about growing my hair a bit longer and dying it a dirty blonde. Who knows.

depends on which town.

blond is the most over rated hair colour, espcally fake, it just screams "i want to look how the tv tells me is good" ugh

Dark hair is good hair, but long hair, is good hair also 😛

That's a bit harsh on our fairheaded friends... It can look credibly cool. Not if you're a goth though. I have it on good authority that goth-blondes look odd...

I learnt after trying to dye my hair red that it shouldn't be done at home. It came out kinda pink, which eventually we managed to make copperish. It was different I suppose.

People who have stupidly fake blonde hair look silly, like people with dark hair and BRIGHT blonde highlights just look naff. People who do it well can look good, such as Miss Michelle Gellar (then again she does have a hoopla of money behind her).

I agree, but if you don't have that SMG-much money what do you do? Keep your ugly hair or dye it stupidly blonde..? Um, I'm thinking of dying my hair.. I wanna be blonde again (my natural hair color), now it's all fake-red.. It doesn't look good at all anymore. And my options are to keep dying it red forever or let it grow out and have really bad looking hair for years (and having to cut it shorter and shorter) or dye it blonde (which will probably come out red/blonde-ish).. Yeah I do have some serious problems, don't I..

Cant you get hair colour removed by professionals (and I mean hairdressers in the high street, not these namby pamby ones you see on TV). Someone I kind of know went from jet black hair to normal brown quickly without cutting so I presume he had the colour removed.

Yeah you thinks thats bad i had a friend who tried givin herself blone streaks when she was hammered and ended up with a big blotch of blond at the front of her head and the rest brown, she had to wear a coat with a hood and a cap for three days until she could go to the hair dressers, oh we didnt half laugh lol

My hairs naturally blonde, but i dye it blonde aswell because otherwise it looks tatty, but i do have it done pro i'd just mess it up lol oh and at the mo im experimnting with chocolate brown streaks but i dnt really like it so im thinking of going back to regular blonde lol!!!

My brother died his hair bright blonde, except he got his friend to do it and it looked like they had dropped the dye on his head and just let it sit there. It wasn't completely died, it wasn't highlighted, it wasn't top blonde bottom brown, just a big blonde unshaped blob.

Mhm.. the problem is it's henna.. which is like impossible to get rid off, I don't even really think it can be bleeched, at all. But maybe I could like, dye it some other color, like brown or another red color.. while it grows.. until I can cut it all off. Eh. (I always end up dying it with henna again, that's my problem, that's why it never goes away.)

I rarely go to the hairdressers, I just don't trust them. My cousin is the only hairdresser I will allow to trim my hair and thats it. All the changes in colour I do myself with help from my mum who gets the bits I can't reach.

I've decided to stop with the dying as i've been doing it since I was around 13. And my hair is finally back to the usual different colours of light brown, copper and blond depending on the light. When I get bored I dye my hair and when I go in a bad mood I tend to go darker.

Re:

I've had the same hairdresser since I was 12. I don't trust anyone else with my hair. I've tried a bit of blonde in my hair when "chunking" was the in thing. Trust me when I say the carmel skinned honeys should steer clear.... Had my hair burgundy for 4 years and loved it. Tried the wedge cut (Dorothy Hammill) for a while- but always end up going back to long hair and my natural color. Although I've pondered doing something a little wild lately.....
