What did Anya deserve? *spoilers*

I've seen some people say the it was fitting and almost deserved for Anya to die in the finale. That she finally got redemption for killing all the men she did.

But is this really fair? Anya spent the past 4 years "redeaming herself" she help fought off 5 apocolypses. The scoobies would have known nothing if she hadn't and stepped in and helped them with the Mayor.

Do you think Anya had already redeamed herself by her constant help in the saving of billions of lives by prevention of the world ending or do you think what happened to her was "fitting"?
 
no one said she didn't redeem herself, but in the fight against evil, sometimes people don't always make it. Wes will be fine though.
 
I think anya could have been killed off in a better way but i think the writers wanted to show that she had been killed incase they decided to bring back buffy and emma had already said that she wouldnt do a season 8. I think she deserved a more dignified death.
 
Anya only died cause well Emma didnt count on coming back next season so Joss killed her off very mean man sometimes and Emma didnt want Anya to die but she didnt deserve to die cause I wanted her to say something funny at the end of the episode
 
That makes no sence.....i know some people will disagree but if Anya had of died in Selfless it would have been a more dignified goodbye
