what did everyone think of s4?

I think it's the worst season out of the lot. I'm not saying it was crap- cos it wasn't that bad- it's just i didn't like it as much as the others.
 
I don't get why people are so harsh on Season 4. Yah, it definitely wasn't the best season but it had a lot of good qualities. Willow really finding her magical niche, Xander trying to make it in the real world, Giles becoming less and less a part of the Scoob's lives, and Buffy trying to have a normal life and a normal relationship. Some of the episodes were bad, but the entire premise was really good.
 
it had two of the best episodes but thats all- hush and restless i dint like the season though

but it did have a lot of spike in it so......
 
season 4 is one of my fave eps! it's got a different but great feel too it! if you know what i mean?? i like that they ae growing up.. xander get's a girl, and a job.. and you know, it's just so amazing too see them out side of high school! with new challenges!(spelling?)
 
It is a season that I find hard to rewatch. You know, when you get in the mood to watch a Buffy episode and you rack your brain on which on to watch out of the season that are on DVD (in the US)..... I hardly ever go to season four.

It did have some really good episodes, like Hush, Something Blue, Doomed, This Years Girl, Who Are You and Restless.
 
i know what you mean i ususally watvht restless cause i love giles song or i got to buffy season 3
 
There are good episodes and the writing was still great, but few things appealed to the fans. Nobody like Riley much (some people did...) 'cause he was a poor substitute for Angel. He was on the normal side, not a bad boy, not a brooding vampire, and after a while, it was annoying to see his face. He was uninteresting and didn't do much except follow orders, not that I have anything against Marc Blucas. The B/R 'ship will never be as exciting as B/S and B/A, probably 'cause Riley was just so normal. Watching Willow with Tara and Willow with Oz is always good, though. This was the season where the core Scoobies took different paths to get to one end and most fans didn't like that. And who actually cared about the Intiative or Adam? S4 didn't really have a lot of things I truly cared about, so that DVD is the one boxset I almost never watch...
 
I agree with you Xander_Lover - I think it is the worst season they've done.
 
The Initiative, Riley and Adam all suck. Beer Bad, too. But it has some of the funniest episodes, and it has Spike and Tara.
 
I strongly feel that season $ was definately underrated. It had some really beautiful things to offer. I really like it over all...

I like four... it is my 3rd favorite seasons. It was there was laughs I think.
 
s4 was horrible!.riley sucx too much!!!
the only part i liked was riley/angel fight(the yoko factor).it was so cool.angel kicked mr brainless's ass

I don't know though...season '$' was great too! 😛 😉
